Yes, it should still work but there is now an possibly easier way. You should have the current versions of Discord and OBS and then in OBS under Sources, select "application audio capture", you would then select your Discord chat window.

What browser are you using? If not Chrome, try that. If Chrome try incognito mode.

Just tried it worked! But no audio? I transferred voice to Xbox and I’m adding browser to Obs and getting no audio. Any idea?

Right click your device in the sources tab in OBS, click on Properties, scroll down to Audio Output Mode, make sure you click Custom Audio Device, and look for your devices name in the dropdown bar, and you should be able to hear sound. to raise or lower sound, you have to lower OBS's sound itself in Windows Mixer (you can usually find that by looking in the bottom right corner of your windows taskbar, easily located the speaker icon, right clicking that, and open Windows Mixer.)

Can you help me with adding my friends audio because I did everything on the video but my friends audio won’t play it’s just the overlay popping up

In the umlink for this widget, try changing if it set to 'limit_speaking=true' in the URL, from 'true' to 'True'.

Do you have "Audio Output Capture" as one of your sources in OBS? Do you also have your microphone selected as one of your sources too?
