Easily Creating Custom ChatGPTs (And Why it Might be Invaluable for Professors)

Can they easily solve the lab with this now? If yes. can you prevent it when you make your GPT? How do you share this with student? They don’t use the paid version so I wonder how that works.

It varies from assignment to assignment. Some forms of assignments are completely broken by ChatGPT - and in this case, educators need to do some reflection and figure out where they should go from there. But in the case I explored in this video, the students are designing a schematic, which is not a mode of output (as of right now) for GPT. If my project was done with code, that might be a different story... As for sharing the GPT - I realized that I forgot to share that part - I'm not entirely sure if you need a subscription to GPT4 to access it - will report back.

I just checked it out and it looks like viewing custom GPTs does require the user to have GPT Plus. Now to convince my institution to get a site license....

@@DrShaneMTU Ask ChatGPT to help "convince my institution to get a site license"! I did the same to get IT and cybersecurity team at my work to let use use it. 😈 when you say site license, to pay for your license per month or let students access the website on university network? I will share your video to my old teacher, I think this is really cool idea they have, even for cooperate company when your employee got questions on the org.
