For those who haven't completed it yet, you can copy your multitool and your starship from the main save on the Anomaly station, at the same expedition terminal where you collect your gear. I don't think it is ever mentioned in the video, but it helps a ton.

To fight the sentinels just go to the expedition terminal and pay 2200 nanites for your best multi tool equipped in your regular save. You can do the same for the ship.

The sentinel quest seems a little tricky in that it does not always give you an indicator on the hud. For me no monolith location is given. It helps to go onto the actual missons, not the expedition tasks, and there is a sentinel mission there to select.

If someone on Xbox is having issues with the photo mission, while on the planet, enter photo mode, and then open the Xbox menu and press the "capture screenshot" button. Do not press the one on the controller

I found this tower on the dissonant world that lets you shut off all the sentinels around it. They counted as kills.

Let me give one tip. There is a traveler in the first system station. DO NOT bother using that one for the grave milestone. It will glitch and not count. I have heard of several other people that have had a problem with it so it isn't just me.

Hmm, I talked to a traveler at the space station and got the grave marker and then talked to Polo and then went to the grave location and it worked fine for me but they were in the same system.

It worked for me, and I didn't even go to see Polo? This was on my xbox s account. Although my game does crash a lot, mainly when I have the multiplayer turned on but it did happen a couple of times when it was off. I think, but don't quote me on this, it happens when I do something too quickly. For instance, when I enter a space station or even switching menus? I've searched the net, and there are things people tell you to do to fix it, but it still happens. 🤷‍♀️

Nice overview of the Omega Expedition, thank you! One question about bases built during the expedition, it was mentioned that they would "be available" in your normal save without any details, such as what happens if the bases are just rolled in and put you over your base parts limits. Any thoughts or information on how bases are handled would be appreciated. I finished the Omega last night but 2 of the 5 optional community based missions (number 4 and 5) are still in progress so I was going to wait for those to finish. (the 5th is tough, very mean sentinels, I only scanned a couple of things and vamoosed!) 🙂

Thanks...I have 3 small and one larger base in the Expedition and they may put me over the base part limit in my primary save. I am somewhat of a hoarder and have a lot of bases and have trouble deleting them. I always hover close to the limit in my primary save. :-) I suppose I could go back and delete my Expedition bases...but...what if I need them again?...LOL...the classic hoarder's lament I suppose. Playstation Tip: afor the screenshot objective, if u press and hold the share button, it won't register the completion. You have to click the share button once while in camera mode, then select "take screenshot"

Thanks for the help, as a returning player it took me 25 hours. Sadly i was softlocked in Radiant Flight quest for hours. Ship did not give me Hayline/Harmonic brain and the spaceship kept flying away on it's own. I had to fight Sentinel Capital Ship to get another Carrier AI Fragment.

That happened to me on my Mac Account, I know it doesn’t help now but if you get in and out of your ship and do a reload it fixes it nearly all the time.

First exhibition so massive thanks! Sentinel ship keeps disappearing though. Found it, managed to land collect the brain, junped back in my ship and it took off! Went and made it docile but no ship there when returning, kinda stuck at this point....

Turn off multiplayer if it’s on, get in and out of your ship then reload the save, this will reset the ship back to the crash site then claim it quickly as it will glitch fly away again and you’ll have to reload again.

If you’ve moved on, check you log for the mission, click on it this should give you a path back.

A hole put a base on spawn but figured that out. After resonator kill no drop and didn't know what I was suppose to get at monolith but gave me nothing. Retraced my steps and nothing from resonator kill. I guess I can make another character and try again. Maybe better the second try. Thanks for video.

One of the quicksilver missions can give a map on occasion, they refresh every ten minutes. Maybe try and get one of those and go to a distant part of space and try there?

When you click on the badges at the end they’ll appear at the quicksilver guy in the Anomaly. The new kiosk only works if you used it to start the expedition.

Glad to see I am not the only one who started the sentinel fight by accident and got killed. In my case I did not try to build a base under fire but dove into a narrow ravine that forced the small sentinels to approach me open at a time, then the dog sentinel showed up. I decided to just blast a tune in the side the ravine getting me out of his line of sight. I was about the seal the entrance behind me when I saw a beam cut across the tunnel. That's all I saw. The dog had shot through 20 or more units of solide rock to kill me. Rather annoyed.

Heck that sound like trying to scan stuff in rendez-vous 5. Scan one thing and get jumped by 4 or 7 sentinels and they would detect me 30 units underground. I finally gave up on that optional mission. Suffice to say they are a tad aggressive.@@davidwilliams7552

The rewards are really cool, especially the Atlas jetpack and multitool. A lot of the milestones were random and didn’t fit into the story. I felt the cook biscuit one was pointless as you don’t do anything with it for the next milestones.

How did you get the AI starship valves that you sold around the 5:30 min mark?

You can get them from scrapping ships, mostly from S-Class haulers. That was my legacy save I’ve got a lot of stuff on that save when grinding was a must.

It's a drop from a milestone quite early, I had it before I even noticed I had it. Just remember to pop those milestones and keep progressing. It's will be one of the next few milestones.

Nope it's not. I just checked all of the milestones and none of them reward it. I followed this video to a T. Claimed everything up to this point so far. The only teleportation thing you get is for your ship early on. No milestone rewards the base teleporter. @@ScottishRod

I’m experiencing a glitch with the pallet cleanser quest where I get all my stuff for it and then it tells me to prepare my dough after I’ve created the biscuit and it won’t surpass me past that and it’s just getting frustrating anyone know how to fix this

The mission props might be lagging behind, try making each step wait for the next step to appear in the corner make a save then move on to the next step? Also have some extra for each step in storage to transfer if it still happens to see if that pushes it forward?

Yes, the start screen converts automatically at the end, the kiosk is a mission within your normal save.

I did everything and achieved everything on the entire expedition but the last optional mission on 5, and this one mission for the interceptor. I have two of the three things on the interceptor ship repaired, but I never received the Harmonic brain that takes you further…. Anyone know what to do?

I found a nip nip base wirh a sale terminal. Picking and selling that gave me the smuggling goal. Some players have handy bases with all the plants growing you need for the expedition.

Gonna be honest. 1600 hours here. This feels like a tutorial of all the mechanics for the players joining on the free weekend.. so much unfinished... like showcasing cooking but its the most pita mechanic noone ever bothers with because you can grow stuff to make glass but not wheat and sugar.

Something I never thought to check before. Once you finish an exhibition, is it possible to go visit any base that you have built while on it? Or does that disappear once you have completed the exhibition? I'm sure you've probably checked this at some point.

​​​ See edit. Other than the scorched planet bug I had to activate the Astrolinguistics milestone in order for it to register even though I had learned well over 16 words. Oh, I'm on PS5 by the way.

@@Missioneer someone mentioned the photo one, you might have to land on the planet and do a reload, maybe disconnect from the internet. But I’d use Hello Games zen desk, the more it’s reported the faster it gets fixed. 😊

At the very beginning. When at someone else's base and using their teleporter to teleport to someone esle's base to get back to the starter planet... It doesn't tell you which planet their base is on so you don't know which planet you will end up on. So annoying!

I think I got it though. What I did was go into my discoveries tab and see what the weather was for the starter planet and then cross referenced that with the weather of that of the person's base I was teleporting to.

You could visit a few bases and sell the resources from there or when you get the sentinel ship later in the expedition, scrap that.

You can’t through the kiosk, you’ll get the rewards and ship at the quicksilver merchant on all saves but if you found something in the expedition take a not of the portal address, glyphs and return later.

They sometimes can spawn quite far away, use your scanner for the direction. I’ve found myself walking on a planet for 10 minutes once, it’s annoying when that happens.

If you follow the phases in order you'll get a free sentinal tracking thing. Assuming that's why you're looking for a resonator.

To resolve this issue, i switched to a different dissonant system and there i started looking for it and found it easily. Or maybe it was a bug which got resolved in recent small patch.

Is the planet covered in Com-balls and bases? It's probably that. Get in and out of your ship and do a reload, click off and on the mission in your log. If that doesn't work go to one of those bases or Com-balls there's probably another Sentinel Ship there.

It’s a reward from one of the early milestones you should be about to do it or have already but you can also get it from the anomaly when you do one jump.
