That's cool you admit you're shaky when recording because you're nervous. I'm the same way. Good video.

Thank you for this video! My kid was so happy when he finally got a "great throw". He says thanks for making the video :)

I'm really glad to hear that! It definitely enhances the game-play to a certain extent where it can become more fun!

UPDATE: Main account is lvl 35 now from a combination of curveballs and this cardboard trick. Curveballs have been confirmed by Gamepress (which I'm part of) to increase catch rate by a worth of 1.7 pokeballs. For best XP rate, I recommend curveballing hard-to-catch Pokemon (orange circle to red). For Pokemon that are easier to catch (yellow circle to green), I recommend using this cardboard trick to maximize XP because easy-to-catch Pokemon will very likely not escape from the Pokeball regardless if you curve ball or not (which is only 10 XP bonus).

Everything was really clear and the background music with sources is a nice touch...would be cool if there was a way to download your straightedge ruler to print out for those of us who are kinda lazy...all in all great vidya though man...keep it up!

But what is the timing?
@CreativiTimothy6 жыл бұрын
Right after the Pokemon stopped jumping / attacked. There's like a small delay that they'll stay still before moving again

It helps me throw directly straight at the Pokémon, but I always hit the top or bottom part of the pokemon. I never hit the middle of the Pokémon to get an excellent.I don’t know when to let go of the poke ball. Do you have any tips? ( I’m trying to hit excellent 10 times to evolve my galarian farfeched)
@CreativiTimothy3 жыл бұрын
Hmm I use a pencil and draw guidelines for each of the Pokemon. If you have 5 tick marks, you can note down a list of pokemon that require swiping up to the 3rd tickmark to get excellent throws, and then it’ll be just memorization

It seems to me you can't throw a curve ball with this method. Or am I missing something?
@CreativiTimothy6 жыл бұрын
John Rush Yeah you can’t reasonably. You could spin it and then use this but it wouldn’t help that much
@magnumrush6 жыл бұрын
I have tried the straight-edge card method and it works pretty good. Thanks.

Hey I apologize for the 3 years late reply. I simply copied that portion of the video and duplicated it 3 times! I use Sony Vegas Pro, but most video editors should be able to do this simple copying, cropping, and pasting

How far up is it to get the g8 throws
@CreativiTimothy6 жыл бұрын
I think from 25% to 75% of diameter?
@emokidpinky6 жыл бұрын
CreativiTimothy thanks but I meant how far up for the line u is the gray throw mark on urs lol
@CreativiTimothy6 жыл бұрын
It's about the width of your index finger of whatever you use to throw with, so about 0.25 inches up, at least for me
