7 or 8 years ago I was playing with a mic and had a teammate who chose shivs for a 100% mission. Well on day 1 he didn't get any but on day 2 we were on opposite teams and since I wasn't on a mission I ended up running towards him and stood still so he could shiv me. He needed 5 total for level 3. He ended up with 7 shivs in that match. Players used to help other players in this game. That was a long time ago. I miss that.

New guys, here's the thing dont ever use a solo loadout always have; - first aid training 3 - reviver 3 As for weapons, Shorty, Semi-auto rifle. Always heal and revive people to get points. As for the 100% risks theres about 6 or 5 tasks are actually good for this for example: -Downs -Executions -Special executions -Heal teammates -Revive teammates -mark enemies These are the best for getting at least less than 60% lost also here's a tip that you must use sparingly: if you close the game you wont pass a day and so you can try again if it's your third day.

Gifts, heals, marks, and revives are by far the easiest

Bruh gift task is by far the easiest. Equip crafter 3 and collector 2, just run around scavenging and crafting, you can easily get 6-10 gifts crafted per game without having to do anything really.

You can skip days by leaving matches like Dr. Poopy said. For me, I only play on Day 1 and Day 4 of each week and skip the rest by leaving matches, and being careful to maintain at least one survivor after each time. The challenge will still take some time because of the multiplayer matching that takes forever in my region. Beware though because leaving matches will not only put your entire clan at risk of a wipeout, but also negatively affect your social credit score. You might even receive messages of love and care from your teammates if you're lucky.

I grinded this twice on the PS3 and PS4 oh god it was hell. It’s easy but time consuming I did have some stressful moments with people that didn’t fully understand the game. They all just ran around when I picked heals and I needed to heal people but I got through that.

Backing out is actually a strategy to get by some days without playing. You can build your clan with a decent amount of people, then back out several games in a row. When there's only some people, play again and build it back up. Then just keep doing that.

I did it! I got the hunter trophy! I did: eliminations eliminations with burst rifle (you can choose your favorite weapon) eliminations with automatic rifle (it's a weapon similar to the previous one) eliminations again (I improved a little so I was more confident) craft gifts. Now I'll go for the firefly one.

I’m on week 6 right now with the Hunters. I never really knew how to use the gifts nor did I know how to heal my standing companions. I’ve just saved my clan from a complete wipeout by wounding more than 9 enemies. Bespite not having the friends for this, it’s completely possible with strangers you don’t talk with, and so. Just like the Name of The Last of Us Platinum trophy: it couldn’t have been for nothing.

Remember if you haven't gotten to level 1 of the challenge (level 1 is all you need) by the 3rd day of the challenge and the match is almost over just press the PS button and close the application and restart. There is no penalty for this and the amount for the challenge will stay the same.

As a huge last of us fan, I gave up on getting the platinum for part 1. I am so god awful at multiplayer games and I have no clue what I am doing. One of my friends on PlayStation who achieved the platinum told me he would help me get through it cuz he’s really good at it. But when he invited me to a game we were on separate teams and all he continued to do was embarrass me. Yeah I feel you it’s a brutal trophy. Try running a healer class and following your teammates in interrogation that will help you rack up more points. But also you can join the last of us factions discord where they have a group of people who will help you basically speedrun through the trophy

Honestly hate when games have multiplayer trophies- especially like this. If it was just "Play a few matches" okay whatever. But the time investment into these TWO trophies where they give you FIVE CHANCES per Trophy to completely lose it if you fail- is fucking ridiculous and terrible design. If you quit the game the day doesn't count so if the match was terrible you can just try again. Really easy.

@8:00 you actually are very wrong. That's NOT what you should do as a last resort. You should ALWAYS do it. That's a glitch. Yes you start the day over without losing a day BUT everything you accomplished in that previous match STILL counts. So say you choose Downs on your risk day. And you played a match and got 3 downs. Before the match ends you press the playstation button and select quit application. Then load the game back up and restart the multiplayer. You will see your day didn't count BUT you still earned your 3 downs. Repeat the process again and say you get another 3 downs. Again press the Playstation button BEFORE the match is over and select quit application. Restart the game and multiplayer, and NOW it will say 6 downs and you still havnt lost a day. And you can repeat that process as much as you like. So you can ALWAYS get the BEST Teir every single time without losing a day.

Welcome to Factions! So the main difference is what happens when you execute and how many parts you get. Normal execute is kicking, shooting a downed enemy and gives you parts but less parts. Special execution is going up to a downed enemy and pressing triangle and you go through a kill animation. The special execute gives you more parts so it’s a risk/reward choice

Each match you play is 1 day so you have to play 84 games to equal 12 weeks. With each match lasting up to 15 minutes you are looking at roughly 21 hours of play time per 12 week journey which is a lot. Follow the prompts on the screen after a match ends as well to figure out if you have a challenge. Hope that helps!

Whatever the first tier says is all you have to get to avert a total wipeout. Doing better only continues to help the clan more but not required. Once you do a challenge it moves the tier 2 to the tier 1 so it’s a but harder each time

It says 12 weeks but it’s more like 13 weeks you gotta survive 12 weeks 7 days before trophy pops. It’s actually not too hard just time consuming. There are only 5 times where you could lose 100% of your population. Here are my tips the easiest challenges to do are as followed. Revives , Heals , Crafting and Marking Enemies. Note you can’t just pick one challenge and keep on doing that because once you do one it stacks up and the requirements become higher. So best bet is too save the easy challenges for the 100% population loss. Note each challenge will have 3 levels each level will take away less of your population. So 60% 40% or 20%. The game gives you three matches too complete the challenge. If you don’t complete at least the 60% you lose everything and start over at week 1 day 1. You don’t have to 100% complete the challenge just at least get 60%. There will be other challenges that can help build your clan this is important as well because if you don’t complete these clan building challenges then your clan becomes sick and you’ll start to lose people they will die. When you kill someone in game you’ll want to collect there loot it helps build the clan up as well. Over all it’s easy just time consuming and there were some stressful moments for me because not every match goes the way you like especially when there’s people that don’t understand this is not call of duty and you can’t just run around it’s a team base multiplayer you must work as a team to win.

I believe it 5x but the requirements get ridiculous after doing the same challenge twice so I wouldn’t recommend picking the same challenge unless your a beast at it.

For me, that's the worst part of this game, you're meant to try to build your clan but then it gets harder to feed them all. I got the trophies so failing again means nothing but it is annoying

I think it adds a sense of realism tbh. It’s a post-apocalyptic world and disease, hunger, and death would be extremely common.

I’m new to tlou and i finished the story and I loved it. I’ve started on the factions and im on week 3 and most of my clan members are hungry or sick I only have 2 that are healthy. I really struggle to get parts in games because everyone sweats. If my clan is mostly hungry will they all die and will I have to start again?

No you might lose some but it kind of keeps your clan around what will survive based on the parts you get. You might want to try interrogation if you are struggling to get parts as that mode can be a bit more forgiving

@@jamessummers3323 if you only complete level 1 then some of the clan will still die. Actually even if you complete all three levels some of your clan will die. But as long as you complete level 1, you will avoid 100% of your clan dying which is the key. It won’t matter much if you don’t pass the next two tiers because it’s not the clan size that matters for the trophy, just that you have some clan members and not zero

Cant go wrong with semi auto and revolver. First aid training, explosion expert, covert training, and reviver are fairly solid for new players

Easiest loadout: -Revolver -If you want you can add a semi auto rifle etc, but it's not necessary. -Crafter 3 -Collector 2 Then just run around collecting, crafting and giving gifts to your team mates. The 100% risk missions are easy if you pick the gift challenge because you can craft 8-10 gifts per game easily. You don't have to care about getting downs or being downed, it doesn't matter. You'll get plenty of parts just by scavenging and crafting. I rarely have any downs or executions, but i'm almost always the best or the second best player on my team in terms of parts.

Do you mean if you are inactive during a match while playing? If so I think this will advance a day. But if you mean you take a few months off of playing the game and pick it up later - it will keep you right where you were!

Ergh.... The problem is this. When Uncharted 2: Among Thieves came out, I started playing multiplayer and I SUCK at multiplayer but I got good at Uncharted 2. When Uncharted 3 came out, I played that. I could hold my own pretty well but was still really good at 2. When Uncharted 4 came out, I started playing that and had been playing The Last of Us here and there, but I got pretty good at Uncharted 4. How long has Uncharted 4 been out now? Since 2017? That means it's been six years since I'd played that game. When I realized the servers were still up for it and wanted that Platinum Trophy, I went right for it and man, was it hard because I hadn't played in six years, all that was gone. I got butchered. My point this this, when you're getting on The Last of Us and putting up with the multiplayer aspect of it, not because Naughty Dog did a good job and PlayStation gamers like multiplayer games (because we don't, Sony has conditioned us to like single-player story driven experiences) that's exactly what those trophies are, a chore. And unwanted experience but a necessary evil to get a platinum trophy. The problem is, you're getting into that experience with people thatve never put the controller down either: A) They're lazy and don't want to move their freeloading butt out of grandma'ma's basement and leaching off her social security, which isn't the most expensive person as they only wanted one game, but all that food your eating is wracking up her grocery bill 2) Or just won't get a job on live off welfare thinking they'll one day get a job as a pro gamer (sorry, EVO doesn't have The Last of Us) so when you get on there to try and get that trophy, that's who you're going up against and your gonna get massacred. I got massacred by people with no life. The matchmaking doesn't cess all that out, probably because you have trophy hunters that just want trophies and to get out so nobody wants to stick around (that shows how good a job Naughty Dog apparently did on the MP and why they smart to leave out The Last of Us Part II MP, The Last of Us just isn't fun anymore, which should hurt Neil Druckmans feelings. He made a single-player experience people love and he should be proud of, but the MP just sucks and it takes a while to get into matches, and then you're stuck playing people, again, with no life so it's not really a fair or fun fight. Brave yourself, you're gonna go from loving The Last of Us, to absolutely hating when and if you can get this Platinum. As many years later, I'm still trying to get it

not sure what that means exactly. But you can use crafter 3 and choose gifting as a challenge which doesn't require downs, but rather crafting items and gifting gifts

Equip the first aid training perk on your loadout, you should see that there are 3 levels. First aid 3 is best but you will need to make sure you have 6 points free to see it

Those 100% risk missions sure are stressful. Playing against pros doesn’t help either. Imagine you lose 10 hrs of progress by failing. Is there are a way to speed up the progress like is it safe to play one match and then leave one or two games after it?

Ugh I know. Well one thing you could do is join the last of us factions discord which has groups that help people get it. You could leave matches, but you just need to watch your clan size closely and play a few in between to keep it from going down to zero

no unfortunately but you can play with those friends in public lobbies and that makes it way easier because you can work together on your challenges
