Sorry to hear that! Expressions can be tricky, moving or renaming a layer, even a capital letter in the wrong place can throw them off. It's impossible to give troubleshoot advice without having seen the project but you need to follow the steps to change the pasted code to fit your own project. (Sorry if I'm stating the obvious and you have done that already. )
