Hi guys in this video I show you how to upgrade your waste valve on your evolution aqua eazypod Koi pond Filter. Replacing the slide valve for a better ball valve.

Hi Dave, another very informative vid, I am running an easy pod automatic it self cleans every 3 days I have also fitted a retro aerated bottom drain with a float switch, next purchases will be a big blue to run alongside my vyair 3 stage and some Hanna checkers for ammonia and nitrite. I also took your advice and now use koi masters advantage. What a difference. As always stay safe, you are a top guy.

learnt sonething new about ball valves! also, do you run your eazypod complete gravity fed? if so how are you finding the flow through the filter and does the UV restrict flow at all? cheers aaron

I run it gravity but removed the black sleeve and it runs at 10,000 lph no problem. 👍🏻👍🏻

Very expensive for a bit of threaded plastic............. I would rather the ball valve though so I took the hit.... Thanks for watching
