I grew up surfing Wrightsville and Carolina Beach. That's my old stomping ground....good times! Crystal Pier and C-Street. Now I stay in Honolulu, living the dream. Welcome to the East Coast Koa! The waves are not as strong as Hawaii, but the paddle out is short and there is no reef to cut your feet on, so that is a bonus. It can get really fun a decent swell. Hope you got some good ones! A few years ago a buddy and I were taking a trip to Miami from Southern California. Our one lay over was supposed to be in Baltimore. Half way through the flight I noticed on the flight tracker thing that the plane had just been flying in a big circle... then the pilot comes on telling us that the control tower in Baltimore was hit with lightening and if they didn't get communication back up soon that we'd have to land in Philly. We ended up having to land in Philly. Then finally Baltimore got back up and running so we all load back into the plane and fly into BWI. Once there, it was a MAD HOUSE. Flights from all over were stacking on top of each other. It was so crazy and such long lines of people that we couldn't even reroute til the next morning and had to sleep in the terminal at Baltimore. Finally we made it to Florida and the trip ended up being rad despite some other weird/wild situations, but I'll never forget that night sleeping in the airport.

Hey man. Love the videos. You inspire me to surf and work on my YT channel. I live and surf on Long Island and it's so cool to see you surf the east coast. I know it doesn't look like much (and most days it doesn't), but hurricane season truly brings some top tier waves to the east coast. Hopefully you get to ride some.
