Another issue with putting faster trains on the uk rail network is the way the whole network is built, it essentially means that there are really too many corners for higher speed trains to handle. A lot of the network would need replacing at a huge cost. you can see this with trains like the TGV because they have their own special lines that are as straight as possible.

How did you get into St. Neots station to do filming? Don't they have the barriers there which only let you onto the platform if you have a ticket?

Cool videos, but pretty wild job with the camera zoom. Next time I recommend better timing while taking shots, so that you won't need to change the zoom that quickly :-).
