Just wanna say all these years later that I respect the massive risk FNL took in switching which team we were following. The new cast and characters shook up the show and kept it fresh. They absolutely killed it with the east Dillon storyline in my opinion

The sad thing was, that the Boosters fell for Joe McCoy that easily. Although they knew that Joe didn't give 2 shits about Panther football, they let him weasel his way into the head of the table. I mean Come on now, Joe McCoy was not even a Panther Alumni. Not to mention he threatened to take away State Championships from the Panthers after Tami was just doing her job by having Luke Cafferty transferred to East Dillon. Even after that, the Booster Club still kept Joe around. I guess money really manipulates the minds.

3:53-3:59 Whoah! *Massive* goof there! The entire Panthers sideline is wearing the wrong uniform (i.e., this is clearly a cut clip from another game entirely in which the Panthers were wearing their home purple uniform), and even though Wade Aikman's clearly supposed to be yelling at JD, we see (at least after the mini-cut at 3:55) that a player that he was supposedly yelling at heading onto the field, who does not appear to be JD and *definitely* is not wearing JD's number 12 uniform (and wearing number 10 instead)! I love this show, but these kind of continuity errors were endless! That's *one* major reason the show was always on such shaky ground during its entire runtime! Edit: And I just noticed the same wrong uniform goof occurs again at 4:17! Wow! *Twice* in a 30-second span? Again, I love this show, but there are *a lot* of lessons in what *not* to do in filming that are easily noticeable while watching it. :(
