Badass cr480. I had an 83 CR 480 that I rode when I was 15. I put a 2007 Mikuni 40mm With a tapered needle. Crf450 MEB coil 2002 2008 Carb on my 2001 cr250. Hands down it is the best carb I have ever ran 0 flat spots just solid power low-to-mid is awesome look that carb up. I believe it will make that older bike run.

Thanks for your positive feedback 250race and definitely some interesting information there. I no longer own the CR480 though and don't do VMX any more either. Great bikes though and I'd recommend one any day :)

Hey comments are disabled for your CR480 race vid. What handlebar risers are on your CR480? Never seen anything like them.. am tall, would like to know!

Hi, They worked a treat for me as they not only raised the bars but I could pivot them forward as well. The std Honda mount moved the bars back even further than standard with conventional risers. I think mines were 3" - I no longer own the bike - if I was to do it again I'd go for 2- 2-1/2 ones next time so I didn't have to roll them quite so far forward. Search ebay for 'Snowmobile Handlebar Risers' and get looking, there are some real nice ones to.
