East Harbor State Park Overview

Stayed there many times in the 70s and 80s... Always had a blast and had our boat to ski and fish off of. Great memories , Got caught in a storm coming back from Kelly's island..... That Big shallow lake gets mean when the wind kicks up the waves get huge! Lesson learned the hard way! Thanks Mike n Heidi!

From Marietta, Ohio. We love East Harbor SP some of the best bass fishing in Ohio right there. We were up there 2 weeks ago fishing.

Camped here with a tent last year. Was a nice place. Our only complaint was all the walnuts on the site. We still come up here couple times a year go swimming. My kids love the beach here.

I like the bike/scooter tours also Debbie! We get to see a lot of scenic beauty on their trips, and they are quiet trips too, that is until, some noisy golfcart comes rolling through who don't know how to turn off his turn signal after making a turn lol.

Y’all should just buy that park…Heidi ,you could run the store / office and handle all the cash and mike could hang out and tell story’s to the guests…He could tell anyone that annoys him to ,”hit the road jack ! “ yall could open a Florida style raw bar open till 10: pm and a late night dance club afterwards…Think about it , “ Life in the fast lane , Everything ,all the time”..😵‍💫🕺🤪..

Its a nice looking park, don't get me wrong, I do like its beauty, and its quiet for the most part too. But! An RV park, where most of the sites are not full hookups, and half the sites don't even have power, come on! Primitive is right! At this rate, I might as well start a campfire and sing Koombyaaa, because its all practically boon docking. Sorry to hear about the story about the farmers who lost their farm. Unfortunately, that is a very common story that happens throughout the country, so many lose their farms, just sad.

Sorry, we took off and went to Leisure Lake and Diamond Ohio and are currently packing up and heading up to Kennisee RV Resort...
