East New Britain Students' Association Choir performs in honor of Sir Michael Somare

Join us as the East New Britain Students' Association Choir of the University of Papua New Guinea performs two heartfelt songs in memory of the late Sir Michael Somare during the second anniversary commemoration service on Friday, February 24, 2023.
Sir Michael Somare, affectionately known as "ToPalangat" by the Tolai people of East New Britain, was deeply respected and cherished as one of their own. Born in Rabaul in April 1936, Sir Michael had a lifelong bond with the people of East New Britain, including being initiated into the secret Tumbuan Society.
