I'm from Oakland, I went to the same middle school ( We called it Jr. High back then, Havenscourt) and Castlemont High school with them cats. Curtis was a baller for sure, but make no mistake, that boy had hands, and he would put them blenders on you if need be. Gerald, was better know as 'Pokie', and as bright as he was (straight A student, G.A.T.E. classes), that dude was crazy! If you valued your well being, you would not...I repeat, you would not, make fun of this nigga glasses. I saw many a fool get mopped for making fun of Pokie's glasses. The average cost for a one bedroom apartment is roughly $1,400 for a very small apartment with burglar bars on your windows and no grass out front. $1,400 is on the low end for an an apartment that was built in the early 70s. Many Black people in this area (East Oakland) have moved to Vegas and Dallas because it’s cheaper to live.
