I wish the Saudi girl had a chance to talk more! I’m from the US, the girl from France, US and Korea all seem familiar to me, but the Saudi girl is intriguing bc she’s dressed “western” yet from Saudi Arabia. I wanted to hear more about that. But great panel otherwise!
@eavocado5890pppj3 күн бұрын
Saudi women dress like that, they just cover it up with a long robe (abaya), however many Saudi woman no longer wear an abaya since Saudi Arabia has started its reforms in 2016. Gulf arab women dress the same as “Western woman”and they have the same wardrobe as you, that's why they have the same brands with the same clothing.
@LovelyLaureness3 күн бұрын
@@eavocado5890pppjYes I’ve come to realize that from watching KZbin and some other experiences. Probably just from what the US news media shows, they portray all Muslim women as Burqa wearing, which isn’t true. Also growing up, my father had many Middle eastern friends, their wives were always traditional, but of course that makes sense bc they were older. I’m glad to see so many young women embracing their own unique styles and body autonomy.
@anonymousproductionsxd29123 күн бұрын

No, of course there are many Saudi women who are diverse in their styles and style, but of course we do not show that to men other than brothers, uncles and husbands. As for the streets and public places, we do not display adornment. There are some women who do not wear the abaya...but I can assure you that 80% of Saudi women wear it to cover themselves, and the minority do not wear it. I wear it Best regards💗

I’m a French girl and to be honest, I was a little scared when Bibi told us she was French and Senegalese. I was thinking « maybe her perception of beauty is biased » because I know culture is very different in the two countries. But she perfectly described French vision of beauty, and I loved the fact she was able to talk about Senegalese culture too. Thank you Bibi for teaching us new things, and thank you for being able to differentiate both cultures. I know it’s hard, I also grew up surrounded by other cultures and you accomplished something I cannot do, my perception is always biased. This video was a revelation for me, I finally was able to tell which perception was from French culture and which wasn’t 😂
@usernameh3 күн бұрын
@joydupre53632 күн бұрын
