Why wouldn't a silicon primer work with non-silicone based foundations? In what way does it not work?

Silicone repels water and using these two different bases together can cause the foundation to crumble and separate. In fact, silicone based primers create a barrier that might not let the foundation sit properly on the skin. 😊

Do you recommend primers with bb cream? What exactly are the benefits of a primer? I heard that they're clogging towards your pores.

wimbletone just make sure you double cleanse, different people has different experiences with primers. some like it some dont... youre just gonna have to try it for yourself

Primer is like a barrier for your skin from foundations/concealers/bb cream. It works really well for me seriously. My acne breakouts actually stopped when I started using primer.
