Volsraphel I used to be terrified of roller coasters that went upside down, then went on the Smiler at Alton Towers which has 14 inversions. I couldn't understand what I was so afraid about, it's amazing fun. You'll regret it if you don't try, it's really no scary at all.

@@Volsraphel Probably a bit late, but Colossus is notorious for head banging, so it's probably not a good idea. Try Nemesis Inferno instead. I've not been on it, but I have been on Nemesis, which is also a B&M invert and it was really comfortable and smooth, although I went on it after the retrack so I'm not sure how a 20+ year old track will fare.

I went on it for the first time last week! Cried, as I’m not a rollercoaster fan but my friend made me go on it. It was good! I wasn’t a big fan of the twists at the end though. The corkscrews were awesome, and the way that the ride goes over paths and stuff is really fun and gives you a awesome ride experience! The head banging was a bit annoying, but overall I enjoyed it, even though the photo of me on the ride looks like I genuinely feared for my life! 😂

I remember taking my dad on Saw: The Ride. He never rode another rollercoaster since. One bad coaster. Also, if you ever go back to Thorpe Park, I would highly recommend The Swarm. It is super smooth and comfortable.

I went to Thorpe Park a few days ago, and I went on Colossus 4 times, Saw 3 times, The Swarm 4 times, and Nemesis Inferno 3 times. The longest queue throughout the day was 45 minutes, and that was for Saw. We were so lucky with the queue times, this is such a good ride, recommended! :) x

actually both the times i went on this ride my head didn't bang around at all, but maybe that's because i'm quite short i guess, i've watched this video quite a lot but i never expected to feel what i felt when it got to the corkscrews, i held on so tight i was convinced i was going to fall out!
