One of the red headed step children of Cedar Fair. If Talon was at another park say Kings Domain or Kings Island, it would be up there in the ranking of B&M inverts. It packs a serious punch.

Years ago there was a 4th one after "getting closer" that read "almost there" and then of course came the "goodbye" sign at the top. For some reason it was removed which lead to an awkwardly long pause after the "getting closer" sign when compared to how the previous ones flowed. If you check out old POV vids of this ride, I'm sure you'll see them. It is a shame they got rid of all of the signs though.

i went on this ride ten times in one day with my girlfriend last month, including four times in a row. at one point the ops actually made us get off and take a walk just to get the blood flowing properly again lol.

It is still a great invert. The POV is one thing but actually experiencing it, is another thing. It does pack a serious punch. The ending helix is pretty forceful.

Yeah when I first rode this I was surprised how forceful it is. Doesn't have the same whip as the 90s inverts but still a powerful ride.

It has some nice airtime pops toward the end too which is unusual for an invert. The zero G roll isn't quite as whippy as some of the earlier inverts like Great Bear or Batman which are nearby, but it has some nice float to it and gets whippier throughout the day.

Went to dorney for the after 4 pm bc I just wanted to ride the coasters. This was the last one of the night. HOLY COW!! When I tell u that this is probably the best invert compared to Batman and great bear… ITS WAY BETTER. And for me I really don’t like inverts that’s why I had that towards the end. Still think candmonium is the best hyper between nitro and steel force.

My first invert! Talon still runs remarkably well going into it's 23rd season. I almost always ride this first when i visit Dorney. Definitely one of their top coasters! I do miss the signs they had going up the lift hill though. They really added to the anticipation as you climbed it, especially if you weren't in the front row.

Dorneys rides are surprisingly more thrilling then they look. You said perfect that ride runs smooth. I wnet on that 200ft spining thing. You sit in a basket that is flipping while the 200ft arm rotates you almost 200ft up. You actually have to sign a death waiver to ride. But was so fun.
