my 12V source on the right handle is already used for the heat grips. Can I use another 12V source from the headlight?

I assume you can just use the same source; this isn't drawing a lot of amps.

Another fantastic video ! I Really dig what you're doing to this bike ! Are those mirrors really functional btw ? I'm considering bar-end mirrors as the higher ones really kill the look of this bike. They usually break when the bike is dropped though, so these handlebar ones look like a good alternative

On this bike and seating position they’re great. They’re convex so even though they’re small they show a wide area and show everything behind me on both sides through the triangles between my body and arms. If I want to see perfectly behind me, i need to shift my body a bit 😅

If I already installed a power outlet using the empty relay slot for that, is there another fused power connection under the tank for the red and black wires on teh tach? I want to install it on my Rebel 500 2023

I assume you could run both from the same connection, i can't imagine the tach draws that much amperage.

Hello. Excellent video. Do you know if this can be fitted when the 12 volt power socket is already fitted ? I'm not sure if there's a spare slot for an extra relay. Thank you.

You should be able to pull from the same power source, this isn't pulling a lot of current.

I just checked the website and it say this : *Cannot be installed at the same time as the stock accessory socket.(Due to the common location of the power supply). I want to install the 12v socket also so i dont know if we can put both together..

@@Jordantravels I assume that just means that you have to splice the wires yourself or make your own Y for the bullet connectors. There’s no way this is drawing too much power to run both

It depends on what headlight cover, I'm assuming most of the cowlings would have to be modified to fit.

Just a quick question. At the end....I couldn't see it well. At which speed in which gear and how much rpm were you riding? Good review by the way. I just would like to know how much rpm you're doing at around 70mph in 6th gear? Thx man

If the mounting points are the same, i'm sure it could work. I don't know if that bike has the power in the same place as the SCL500 but you can always pull that from somewhere else.

Eh, this is what you get at this price point - there's other more fully featured bikes, but at a full featured price.

@@eastcoastish At this price point in CB500 Hornet you get much better speedometer (well standard 5" TFT like in other Hondas), traction control, USD fork and dual front brake. CL500 looks like it was made from the parts found in the grandpa's attic (except speedometer, which is terrible). Triumph in Speed 400 mounted a simple analogue speedometer with digital tachometer - definitely a cheap solution, but much better from this abomination which is provided by Honda.
