From what I’ve read and watched it sounds like it will be a pay for convenience not pay to win. And it’s also PVE so that shouldn’t matter to much. Also what’s everyone worried about, it’s a free to play a game come back in a week if you need to. I myself am excited but wouldn’t invest too much into it until it’s time to play.

I agree! But many and I would be one because I want to cover this game with content… I’m trying to get in the game, play it and also cover it.. the community is really nice and have been enjoying content and the more someone plays more they knowledge they can help others. But if you don’t mind waiting, I would most definitely say wait a day and see how ppl are reporting the game.

There will be for sure, but I think that they could be lesser because the release time. For me in EU is 10am (GMT+3), which for let's say LA is midnight.

Yeah the different time zones might help but I just have a feeling some might stay up to play lol I would if could and didn’t have to work. I’m just going to play it after I come from work you know. 10am is good time 🤣 I have 3am for me

Considering how many played the cross-platform beta, between PC, PS and Xbox, I guarantee there will be issues. I don't remember the number, but it was like 2 million people in the beta, and now there are more people that know about the game so that 2 million will be greatly increased on release.

Oh yeah most definitely there are some ppl that didn’t know they could play it when cross beta was out.. they thought it was limited or just didn’t have time… I knew few ppl I told they got in last day back then.. so be exciting to see many play that’s for sure. Just waiting on news if they dropping founders pack or how much things will cost.. with under 7 days these details should be dropping soon

I agree with you! Don’t get me wrong! I like the final shape. Just feels like it’s the same stuff maybe I just need a longer break from it and try something else myself! That’s why I’m pushing myself to play this game and give it a fair shot.. but I also need to keep in mind… destiny 2 is a 10 year old game that’s polished over those years and got better.. TFD this is the first real release so be interesting to see how they react to community and changes they make, hoping for the better.. which is why I’m trying to cover the game more.

release day and server stability is complex and complicated topic. especially for F2P game, where it is difficult to estimate, how many players will be there on day 1. I work in company, where we are selling server hosting in public cloud (amazon, microsoft, google) and i can tell you, it is quite expensive, especially when considering tiers and availability. what players want is day 1 server infra, which can handle 2 milion (or more) players, but it is unrealistic. that is SO MUCH money. remember New World release date ? they were adding like 50 server every day for 3 days and eventually they stopped and let ppl burn in queues, because even when they OWNED the server infra, it was that much expensive. i would say there will be issues, considering the F2P model.

Oh wow I remember using Google and Amazon servers for things for a side hustle. Yeah that’s why I try to use gym membership as my illustration, just not sure if it came across well.. but everyone and their moms trying to get in will be tough. And correct unrealistic to think it can handle everyone and pay for all that added space when after a week or two you won’t need it all.

The battle pass appears to be 10 dollars so I think it's fair to pay 10 dollars every 3 months if you enjoy the game.

Yeah that’s what I’m hearing as well. That’s not bad for price. If price is confirmed and theres a way to gift items like warframe.. I’ll consider maybe a giveaway for reaching milestones for the channel. We seen a lot of growth with this game so might want to give back for all the support we receive

I have zero faith this isn’t going be PTW trash. This company is already guilty of it multiple times. It may not start off extreme but they will keep adding more and more ptw as people get hooked.

You have a point. However, that was in their gacha games. They developed this game as a PVE single game. They want to set a good precedent in this market.

I can understand the hesitation to believe otherwise from this game and their devs. I think every game deserves to stand on its own merit. I think once it starts to show how much items will cost is where we have to see if we want to play it or not. I give them their own judgment on this game since every time they did something and community didn’t like it. They looked into changing it, last thing was paint Randomness.

I agree I’ll let each game stand on their own merit and not compare because they seem to be listening to community and making changes.. if they keep following through then that might be a good sign. But when they drop prices we will see what push back is if much.

I have… day 1 recent was trash.. but after day or two it got better.. but it’s not often that you getting kicked to orbit. But after a update/hotfix they tend to have issues.. that’s why destiny 2 is a love / hate relationship lol 😂

Yeah I thought about Founders pack but they havnt even hinted at anything in the game when it comes to prices.. even for battle passes. I would have purchased the Founders pack to be able to play.. and if somehow they do with in next few days maybe still will but doubtful.

Yeah now under 7 days it’s hard to see them actually drop something but…. If they did I’ll consider it.. I think many would as well.. but by dropping founders pack they would give us a glimpse of what they would be charging a lil and they havnt even talked about stuff battle pass or anything but we should have news soon on that
