Probably the lamest finale to a plot that I can remember from EastEnders. Used to watch consistently from 2014 onwards.. oh my how it has dropped off massively post-Covid. The production & writing is one-note & lazy.. any familiar identity about the show has been completely dismantled

And this is the moment where Nish Panesar finally gets his comeuppance. I mean getting killed-off was glorifying, but the fact Suki and Eve survived his wrath one last time meant that he ultimately lost in the end. Granted the way he lost to death was glorifying, but for his plan to die with him and for Suki and Eve to finally be ridded of their tormentor once and for all - not to mention Julia's Theme being played over it!!!! Now that's proper victory for the couple here, and for Nish this is the comeuppance he deserves. For all his evil, Nish truly died a lonely bitter old monster who shall forever burn in hell where he can no longer torment his nearest and dearest. And so Suki and Eve can live happily ever after now. And let that he the end of it. Nish shall never again be mentioned or even hinted at the slightest existence upon again. Nish Panesar was nothing really - an evil monster yes but pathetically hollow. Granted he was one of the show's best villains to date but this is me speaking on the fact Suki and Eve have won at long last. Suki and Eve are everything, always and forever whether in live or death regardless of how long the world continues to exist for. Happy New Year to them I say!!!!

Nish Pansar was a badass character. Fantastic acting by the actor who played him. So convincing. Best EastEnders baddy I've seen. Reminds of DeNirp in Cape Fear. That sorta deranged guy whose hell-bent on winning. His son, Vinny ? Getting overpowered by a guy whose knocking on heaven's door lol. Enders even broke out the Julia's theme, they usually only do it for departures, so you know this was heavy.

Because a) The actor was leaving for pastures new and b) Bad Guys get their comeuppance in soaps and c) After 40 years of the show, they wanted the soaps first Lesbian Wedding as some landmark in the history of the soap. I loved Bovinda’s ( Suki) dress though.
