Why did Pauline love Arthur so much? He failed at getting a job, being a husband etc but Christine Hewitt wasn't a widow, her husband was on the show but she did seem alone, at least Pauline was kind about understanding why she was trying to get Arthur for herself. Pauline never wanted another man though.

They gave the di marcos the worst leaving story like the other Indian family, just to get rid of them. Unlike the Mitchells, slaters etc most people think the families were a failure but the di marcos weren't too bad, they just ran out of ideas for them. Rosa was cool and beppe but gianni was a big pathetic loser who used women because he was attached to his mother's breast. He'd have to be forced to marry a woman who unfortunately would be stuck with a cheat and not a man. Did Ian get lisa fired from her job? She was only market inspector for a while. Eastenders had good storylines then, it's awful now
