This makes me laugh Den Watts always loved his daughter Sharon more than anyone, and yes I get that he had to leave her and flee to Spain in 1989 but Sharon was his princess I am sure he would have had someone keep an eye on her and fill him in on anything. I am sure if that was the case and he got word about what Grant was doing to Sharon and The Vic he would be back over like a shot to sort Grant out or get someone to sort him out.

STEJTHEGREATEST Den wouldn’t have had a physical fight with Grant, coz Grant would have smashed him. The difference between Den and Grant, Den was mentally harder, he used his brain to deal with his enemies, he never had to get physical, he just dealt with them by playing games. Whereas Grant was physically harder. Dealt with his enemies with his fists, Grant never thought about his actions but Den did. Both great characters.

Michael Renwick I disagree. He had to more or less flee the country after escaping his assassination attempt. He had to cut all contact with his old life (including his Princess) or he would of risked The Firm finding out he were still alive. I doubt he had the funds after leaving The Firm behind to pay anyone to watch over her. I'm sure he landed on his feet again in Spain, but that would of taken years, and within that time Sharon was going through all this. So it's reasonable and a fair assumption to say that he couldn't of stopped this from happening to her at this time... as I'm sure he just thought she was safe with friends around, and probably wouldn't of wanted to put her in danger had his enemies knew he were still alive.
