Outstanding series. Been watching since day one. Shows the gritty lives most of us normal people lead 👍

I am surprised the carpenter family left in 1987. Hannah and Tony would have been good characters during the early 1990s and I would have loved Hannah to have an affair with hattie’s dad as she was very much like Hattie’s dad.

Anything old is ALWAYS the best whether it’s OLD……. TV Comedy Movies Music Sport Technology & when I say OLD I mean at least 2 decades old & when I watch stuff on KZbin i ALWAYS go back in time cos like I said old stuff is ALWAYS better & OLD society is WAY, WAY, WAY BETTER than today’s society where the world is going WOKEY POKEY CRAZY & going INSANELY BONKERS & people going BRAINDEAD & COMPLETELY & TOTALLY DEHUMANISING THEMSELVES ok, there were still big problems in the world 30-40 years ago but at least people were human beings & there were males & females & there was no such thing as non fucking binary & boys were boys & girls were girls & men were men & women were women & not males identifying as females or females identifying as males Yeah, people were normal human beings which is why I keep going back in time when I watch stuff when there wasn’t any social media or internet & life was just better Also, old Eastenders is better than todays Eastenders I do like todays Eastenders but I prefer old Eastenders

My 2nd cousin, a teacher, was having an affair in 1999 and his side chick (25 years younger and 17 at the time) would call and hang up if his wife answered. He claimed it was likely a student. 5 years later he married the side chick. 5 years after that she dumped him because he was "old and boring" 😂 and broke up the marriage of a doctor.

Poor Mary, she could have sat around scrounging but she worked for Annie. That old bat like Dot needed to wind her neck in and leave her alone. Like her son and husband were anything but crooks !! as she would quote, let he without sin…..

When lou uses racist terminology you shouldn't have got away with it back then in script writing well after race relations act

The character of Lou IS an old racist. They were writing in a character old enough to have gine through all the social changes since the early 1900's. Whife Brits of that era weren't happy about it. Its better to show the racism of a time in history than erase it to make us feel good in fhe present. These people existed. Show them.

I never liked anita dobsons acting.. it was very wooden, like she was reading from a script or been thrown in to do the part at the last minute. She had a weak attitude. Needed more fire in her. Cassie was bad too.. no spirit.. a gloomy, weak voice
@thenightporter15 күн бұрын
I agree; she wasn't very authentically emotional in her private moments. Compare her upset over Den's affair to Emma Thompsons scene in Love, Actually
