Wow it was a great agreement. I'm disappointed that Cindy and David didn't even mentioned Barry since he helped in their part too back in 1996. Probably they forgot about him or something since Barry turn from streetwise womanizer dodgy geezer and a bit of player wide boy to a local buffoon clown of the square. But I can't remember what year exactly Barry gradually changed since he was changed couple of times during 1990s I think. Does anyone know when he slowly shifted into a more buffoon comic relief with big heart.

I think it was when he was conned by Vanessa out of a hundred grand in 1997, then he moved in with Robbie and that’s when he started becoming more ditsy, then he met Natalie and he had basically changed atp

@@lepreconlon5586 Wow Barry changed a couple of times in 1997 so slowly shifting I think where he was with Vanessa he wasn't a wide boy a bit of player wide boy anymore since he was in his early appearances from 1994 until mid 1997 he was becoming a good character but he was a bit serious but less funny while having Robbie, Huw and Lenny working for him. When he start dating Vanessa. Then Vanessa conned him he changed a bir of a loser and a bit of comic relief. But in 1998 he was a dity less of a clown. Didn't he conned Robbie out of the video shop manager job and he got Ricky and Teresa involved by having them steal a Christmas tree a dodgy business and still had a sleazy by flirting with Mel and Louise Raymond Tiffany's mother but he was a still dity that. But he was still a bit of comedy character but in 1999 you said he basically changed into the Barry we know when he did dating agency and he first Natalie. But I heard they changed him because Paul Bradley who plays Nigel left and they wanted Barry to fill the comedy gap for Nigel and a replacement for him according to Shaun Williamson who plays Barry said. Is that another reason and was he became more buffoon like Nigel filling the comedy gap for Nigel was when he did dating agency and he met Natalie in 1999 But since Nigel was still around when Vanessa conned Barry in 199, Nigel didn't leave until april 1998 if I'm correct.

@@chadyepipia8383 I never actually thought of Barry’s character changing to reflect Nigel’s when he left but now u mentioned it it makes Perfect sense! I think you’re right in everything you’ve said, Nigel did leave in April 1998 and Natalie came back around jan/feb of 1999? I think, and since eastenders I’m assuming was filmed about 3-4 months ahead it gave time for barry to get some of Nigel’s comedy traits, I don’t remember him being too sleazy with Natalie he was more romantic unlike with him and Vanessa who he was trying to be the big man with before she conned him 🤣, for the short answer I’d say his character was changed completely by March/April of 1999

Natalie came back in March 1999 mate so yes Barry did change around that time much different to his previous years. One more question I wanted to ask You remember Nigel early appearances when he first came back in March 1992 he was a wheeler dodgy dealer and a creep sleaze and confident guy and doing some dodgy business with Grant and they wanted to buy the motor from Frank at the car lot and frank knew what Grant was up to. So Frank conned Grant and tricked him good. I spot Nigel arc was similar to Barry's one. I heard the producers incorporated Nigel gradually as you read on wiki. So when did Nigel became more of a nerdy buffoon goofy clown comedy fellow was it when he started living with Dot for a lodger in September 1992 or after when Nigel, Frank, Ricky and Arthur all dance stripping in the pub making the ladies laugh around October 1992 mate.

Now how to fix Kathy return from the dead so we go back to 2006 when Ian returns with Ben and we find out Kathy has been into a coma by her abusive finance and his in prison in south Africa ,so Phill is dealing with johnny Alan same thing from the soap ,and then he goes to south africa to see kathy in a coma and he goes to the prison and wants to kill the mother ,so back on the square we got the same thing between Phill and Stella and abusing Ben ,but one new thing I add is she is a little jealous that Phill wants Kathy back not her so Phill talks her straight .and after Stella death and Phill with guilt of failing to look after his son and then time went on he got better with help from Peggy and maybe grant ,so Phill gets ready to go to south africa but cu boom kathy shows up at the door that shook phill Ian and others ,Kathy heard of what happend with stella and thanks phill for getting rid of her and as times goes on they reunite together to raise ben so that's my fixing of these two characters thank you

But of course Derek Branning was the one person who was sworn archenemies with David Wicks himself.

Starting with Cindy no 1 Melanie Owen back in 98 just appeared out off nowhere to work with Ian and then they go into a relationship together same thing in the soap so if I change it she his working with Cindy and Cindy is telling her to spy on her kids so Cindy can learn of what the kids is up to ,and when ian find out he is so pissed he kicks mel out and warns cindy to back off even she rotting in jail otherwise he will sue .so who knows what will been next for Cindy after that.ps no 2 coming up how to fix Cindy return from the dead.

Yeah I agree with you on this one bit I wish Mel and Cindy should of meet on screen. Also why was Barry wasn't even mentioned by Cindy or David since he was David's best mate and Barry helped them carry on the affair and Barry and David helped Cindy to escape the country since she was wanted by the police. Can you imagine if he returned from the dead.

@@yulejbaylock103 Okay everybody loves Nigel Bates, he is incredible and do you remember when Nigel first appeared he was quite different in his early appearances back in March 1992 as quite confident dodgy and a wheeler dealer and a creep sleaze/shifty and a bit of player wide boy he was and had an edge and his early appearances is same thing like Barry how he first started off but Barry was more edgar in an unpleasant way than Nigel but Nigel wasn't a villian those and Nigel did a bit of business with Grant and sometimes with Phil and Nigel was also a conman too when he and Grant tried to scheme on Frank by buying the car off him before Frank conned Grant since Frank knew what Grant was up to something. You may remember his early appearances have you seen it and how did you find it.

Now back with how to fix Cindy return so this is the last and no2 how to fake her death with good writing that the soap used too ,so any way everything the same from 98 when she gets arrested and she gets pregnant and give birth to Cindy jr and before the trail is going to begin for her she gets bailed out from her friends from Italy or people that she knows outside Albert square and she is watched by the cops so she knows she has to leave to escape trail so she visit her unborn daughter and then visit Steven Lucy and perter but Ian spotted and freaks and calls the cops so she on the run and how does she fake her death by crashing a car in a abounding warehouse and the car burns and she is presume dead ,and couple years later she shock ian that she didn't die in that car chase and how she escape, so iam warns her if she hang around albert square again she will be sent down so she leaves ,and then a while later cindy rings pat to meet her ,pat will give her a queen slap but she tells cindy she always understand why ian made her life miserable in the past but for the kids what pat says it's best to turn yourself in and she does ,and future holds after that .that's cindy fix comeback now is off to fix Kathy return from the dead.ps will return
