Damien was a very scary character. He was almost as terrifying as Trevor Morgan (Little Mo's husband). Nigel was bigger than Damien. He could easily have pinned Damien up against the wall. Dot should have shouted "Oh Nigel. I am so glad that you have come. Damien is in the flat with me now and is holding me hostage. Please go and get some help, right away!"

I remember in the next episode, Dot tells Nigel that Damien cleared her out of all her cash and has left her penniless. Nigel gives Dot all the money that he been saving up to take Claire to Frinton-On-Sea with, and Pauline also generously gives Dot £50. When Nigel returns after his weekend away, Dot is nowhere to be seen.
