This past October in The US, they did a Hommage to Grease on The Us Morning Show Today where Two of the Journalists dressed as Sandy & Danny. Olivia Newton John called them to say she oved the performance. IN The US Grease was the Bread & Butter of a lot of Actors/Actresses when their career went downhill. Actors from US Soaps from Another World/Guiding Light/As The World Turns all did productions of Grease and Jeff Trachta Ex Thorne Forrester #2 took tome off from the show to play Danny Zuko as well. I wish they would do the Music Of Philly. So much Talent came from there. Boyz To Men, Tammi Terrell, Karen Young, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes (RIP), The Stylistics, The Tavares and of course The Kenny Gamble/Leon Huff Music Catalogue as well as Hall & Oates.

they acted grease brilliant , Alfie played a great part and he had a good voice because he is a singer in real life. kat tho omg it was really surprising she has got a really good voice on her, mick and Linda played fantastic and I loved how they made it a fairground athmospere and mostly the whole cast was involved

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Grease debuting at The Kingston Mines Nightclub in Chicago, Illinois and some Broadway Producers saw the Show and they loved it. It debuted on February 14th 1972 on Broadway and the rest is History. In future years Grease was the Bread & Butter of Folks whose Career had taken a downward slide.

+TheWetDolphin with den watts it was more that he just fell into hands of very bad writing on his comeback as 2004 was a pretty bad year for the show, that and his infamous off screen antics didn't help, they turned him from a loveable badboy into a heartless twisted villain with no or little likeable qualities. Ian and Phil aren't really villians though-there is alot more dimsensions to their characters, Characters like nick are usually 1 dimensional.

On October 31 of this Year US Morning Show Reporter Savannah Guthrie dressed up as Bad Sandy in Grease and it was considered to be very popular while her Co-Host Willie Geist dressed as Danny with the Rydell Sweater. Olivia Newton-John loved the performance so much she called to say thanks. Some feel that because of that performance over 400,000.00 US Dollars was raised when she auctioned off her Grease Memorabillia to raise Money for Cancer Research. In The US Actors from As The World Turns, All My Children, Another World, and The Bold & The Beautiful have all been in productions of Grease.

In The US Alot of Actors on Soaps have done Grease which is next to Dreamgirls and Hairspray some of the most popular in terms of ties to Soaps. Some Characters do Grease First then a Soap Opera or A Soap Opera and then "leave" to do Grease. Olivia Newton-John won a Daytime Emmy (America's Highest TV Honor) for writing a Love Song for The Soap Opera As The World Turns.
