Narcissists can't love. They wear a mask for a time. How she could sleep in the same bed as him after he abused her I don't know. He did it again and again. Karen naively believed gray was lovely because he pretended to love chantelle and had money while he made her suffer. He ruined her and her kid's lives. Karen judged the Mitchells but thought gray was perfect. When chantelle was going to leave, his ego was bruised. He knew she was done. Even his kids saw him for what he was

He didn't even kill Chantelle on purpose. He pushed her and was just as shocked as the rest of us watching when he realised what had happened.
