I find the whole story a bit unrealistic when Ian was so happy to get shot of her all those years back and then makes out "it's always been Cindy" - but Jane was his true love and she disappeared (I know she left because of Max - but that was resolved) with no explanation of why they don't speak or anything. Did Ian just suddenly decide he didn't love Jane anymore? Cindy returns as a different woman but now they just want old Cindy back so why didn't they just return her as her old self and not be with Ian? If they could have dealt with these things a bit better it may have been more plausible.

Agree but it did work with the fact that Ian left for a while & was on the phone to someone at Dots Funeral so when we found out that was Cindy it was such a shocking return story for them both and a nice way to bring Peter back. We do love the Beales.
