When I was ill in hospital, I discovered that my friends horse had died. I randomly heard the Eastenders theme in my mind and I hardly went a day without thinking about the horse as well as my own health deteriorating. 2023 was the worst year of my life but I’m fully recovered from the SPA infection illness i had living my life a year later with the trauma still vivid. I was only 20 when i nearly died but I’m still here at almost 22

Haven’t watched the soap in about 10 years now. Not long after the Who Killed Archie storyline is when I tuned out and I haven’t been back since. Got so boring. Apparently it’s beyond terrible now. Who even still watches it??? But anyway listening to Julia’s theme always brings me back to the good old days. 1998-2003 was when EE was at its peak and literally everyone was watching it. Take me back to the old days of Grant, Peggy, Frank, Steve Owen, Matthew Rose, Dan Sullivan, Jamie, early Slaters, Dirty den ect. Never been able to recapture the golden age storylines of Steve, Matthew & Saskia murder, Who Shot Phil, You ain’t my mother! And Pat & Franks affair. Great days that are a distant memory now. Julia’s theme always brings em back though 😉

@@seank135 Since these two new producers took over (Kate Oates and Jon Sen) the show has lost a huge amount of viewers and several fans are boycotting and switching over to Coronation Street. These producers are fascinated by two characters in particular, Ben and Callum (nicknamed Ballum by their cringeworthy toxic fanbase), and every episode over the last 3 weeks has featured them to the point they are now taking over other character's storylines and a lot of people are pissed because they want to see characters like Denise, Shirley, Jay, Lola, Sonia and more but these two just take up all the screen time.
