Ffs, so much overacting with Phil's character sums him up over the past 10 years or so. He was an idiot for not making sure he came away with the money when he kicked in the door yesterday. The funny thing is that in real-life that Albie kidnap would've very likely become national news, Eastenders basically copied the Shannon Matthews case, there's no way it would've remained so low profile & Karen would be able to escape quietly into the night after being exposed as staging it to the whole square. It is quite amusing all the shit that goes down in Walford but it stays within the confines of that square. Haha

Amazing that 20 years ago this month, it was Phil vs Den, and Phil was about to be stitched up for robbery and go on the run for almost 2 years. From late 2003 to April 2005 Phil was on the run, but we never got much info on what Phil did during his time on the run. I guess he went across the country sleeping in barns and derelict houses in the countryside.

All I hope is they won't later bring Roger Griffiths back in an entirely different role. Mainly cuz he initially first appeared in EastEnders as Police DI Riddick in 2004-05 before later playing Mitch. Reckon it's safe to say he's become more associated with Mitch and fans will recognise him as Mitch. Same goes for Lorraine Stanley, who started off appearing as young Mo Harris in the Pat and Mo spin off in 2004, then Thelma Bragg in 2016 for only a few episodes before finally Karen as a regular role just a year later.

She doesn't really interest me nor bother me. I think soaps all require her type of character that mill around & are fairly normal by typical standards of characters in soaps, they at least help keep the show somewhat grounded.
