I feel for both of them, Kat and Ronnie but Ronnie should not have taken her friend's child, especially when she knows how it felt for herself that was no excuse to visit that pain on her friend

That's what got Lacey Turner a role on Eastenders. She originally auditioned for another role, but they created Stacey for her because she looked so much like a young Kat.

Stacey’s grandmother was the “aunt Vi” the Slaters kept going on about in the early 2000’s. She was Charlie’s sister and she’s deceased.

@@StillStanding-k2h that’s a different person. Charlie’s wife was Viv Slater and yes she was the daughter of Big Mo. But in 2001 the Slaters mentioned going to visit the grave of their Aunt Vi, short for Violet. She was Brian Slater’s mother, he was Stacey’s father.

@@kirstyhert6454 she should have, but she was not thinking straight. And in fairness, James was already gone. What she did was still beyond messed up and nothing condones what she did but she was in a bad headspace.

Ronnie tried to give Tommy back but Kat freaked out before she could explain and Kat gave him back to Ronnie and ran off upset. Understandable but I feel like Ronnie gets too much hate. Ronnie was in a severely emotionally distressed state. She didn't intend to take Tommy, she went over to the Vic to get help when James wasn't breathing.
