Zoe comment was like really? I remember Sam being the weakest link out of all three of them? Zoe hit him and Chrissie killed him. Sam dug him up stupidly and got a month or two behind bars silly cow, her family had to help bail her out in meantime. Kat has that Slater edge. She is perfect to be matriarch for Slaters and Mitchell’s. I funnily enough think Peggy would approve.

You can definitely tell something's changed in Eastenders. The writing and episodes are getting better and better. Hopefully it will get back to how it was during the 90's and 00's. There are a lot of strong female characters to working with, with a lot of in-twining history. Sam Kat Sharon Shirley Denise Chelsea Kathy Suki Stacey Sonia Janine Linda Rainie Probably missed a few as well. But it's definitely getting back to those strong women characters that it used to have and be based on.

There are too many women fighting over men. Linda and Janine over Mitch, and Denise and Sam over Jack. It's cheap writing. Especially Denise being threatened by a woman who left her family (Sam) when Jack is clearly a family man.

This is yet again another cynical attempt to have us sympathise with the scum being that is Ben Mitchell, and it's being done in the worst possible way (by rape). In fact, I would've liked this storyline if any other male character (possibly Callum or Jay) was the victim. This storyline looks good except the only problem with this upcoming storyline is that they've chosen the wrong person (Ben) for this really important storyline.

To be honest Kat is a natural born leader. If there was a contest to see who'd win in a fight between these two Kat would win everytime. The thing that Sam and Ben have in common to Phil is a let me prove my worth to you that's a clear sign they haven't got their shit together. If someone has to say it out loud let me prove it to you it proves a few things shockingly they can be manipulated to do another person's will and 2 they do not have what it takes because the second someone says let me prove it lowers their worth immediately even if before they opened their mouths someone thought differently. With Sam it's all an act. We can see it is and other people on the square will see though it. She's still that scared unsure of herself little girl, which is fine, I'm not judging her but everyone will be judging her by the pretence. Which is the number one reason why it's probably best Kat resumes leadership because nothing is pretence

@@tomhiggins6542They really need to stop doing these linear character evolutions. Not everyone in the Square needs to turn into a former resident! It’s bad enough they reuse their names in terrible non-original ways (Lou->Louise, Dot->Dotty, Pete->Peter, naming bastard babies after Arthur, Peggy, etc.) but ever since the start, they write out a character and have another character almost exactly takes their mannerisms. Take Pauline for example, after Lou died, it seems like the older she got, they just gave her scripts and wrote her as if they were originally written for Lou/Anna Wing and they just crossed off the name before the colon and had Wendy Richard play it. No wonder she left! They did the same with Bianca morphing into Carol, Mick into Frank Butcher, Sharon into an Angie/Pat hybrid and now they’re pushing Kat turning into Peggy…
