Pauline was nothing like this in the early days. Wendy was absolutely right to leave - the writer and producer who made these storylines will be forever remembered as the person who really destroyed a great character !

she was miserable before 2006 though, they just ramped it up in her departure storyline. She was outright miserable from about the late 90s on.
