I remember the night, that Pauline hit Arthur with the frying pan. My mom was watching EastEnders up in her bedroom and I was watching it downstairs in the living room. At the moment Pauline hit Arthur, at the same EXACT moment, my mom and I both yelled to each other "Oh my god, Pauline hit Arthur with a frying pan!" Lol

Hope it never gave you the urge to do it to your fella lol

Why weren't you just watching it together? The same show in different rooms of the house?
@lisaheisey61684 жыл бұрын
@@peterah7957 I would, if I caught him cheating on me, like Pauline found out Arthur had cheated on her.

@@dominewimbury2039 Because, while my mom & I both loved EastEnders, there were other shows that one of us liked, but the other didn't. So, if we were both going to watch something different, before or after EastEnders, then she'd watch in her bedroom. Or, sometimes, she just felt like relaxing in her bed, while watching tv.

It’s ironic that Pauline Fowler hit her husband Arthur with a frying pan and 13 years later Pauline’s second husband Joe Macer hit Pauline with the same inject killing her

I think you'd call this episode "all action." A classic. This is what Eastenders dont do now. As one storyline finishes (Arthur and Mrs Hewitt) another begins with Kathy and Phil.

Glad you omitted the domestic violence bit. I loved Pauline, but that was terrible double standards - and typical BBC. If Pauline had had an affair and Arthur had attacked her, then taken a frying pan to her head, the screams of horror from the woke viewers, even back then, would have been heard from here to Australia.
