I'll give Lacey Turner credit. She handled her celebrity a lot better than Daniella Westbrook (Ex Sam Mitchell #1) did back in the day. What I love about UK Soaps is that you bring in A Family and you see how well they gel with Fans. In The US, they bring in One Character and then they bring Family Members. Mal Young who worked on The Young & The Restless bought in The Rosales Family but they aren't setting the Fans on Fire.

It's so cool when a character from a UK Soap comes back because in The US, when a Soap Character comes back it's because the Actor/Actress couldn't get work on what the Yanks call Primetime TV.

I think her and Alfie Moon leaving The Station to go to Walford were the best of that genre. The Writers knew she was a Diamond In The Rough when they created "Stacey Slater" for her.
