Unpopular Opinion : Dark Mel scared me more than Dark Janine, I mean don't get me wrong I love the dark side of Janine but she's more entertaining at being sassy and bitchy and stirring up fights with other females, but the dark side suited Mel more than it did Janine. I remember being gripped by Mel and Sharon's feud and I was waiting everyday for the next episode to see what would Mel do next, I didn't feel that excited about a character's exit in years and Mel excelled at that and nailed the storyline perfectly.

Same. They did Mel so dirty though by killing her off. I would've just had Mel's car crash while Sharon was chasing her then her car explodes but we don't see Mel come out while Sharon watches. Then at Christmas eve instead of Phil coincidentally putting together the truth, Mel comes in secret after hearing what Phil did to Jack then tells Phil about Keanu and Sharon then leaves again never to be seen.
