Post-partum psychosis brought on by her labour (always a risk with bi polar if the mum stops taking her meds to prevent harm to the baby) because she gave birth at christmas she became convinced that arthur was Gods son and she had to protect him from the devil.

When someone is detained by psychiatrists for their own safety and protection. There's different types depending on severity. A 136 is in public and I was released within 6 hours. I know a 2 is up to 28 days and there's others for longer. People with schizophrenia/bipolar/related conditions usually are in for a month and assessed and given meds with therapies and a chance to rest and explore their thoughts and visions what they believed and saw to take charge of it.
