Fast forward 13 years later (2023) Thomas Law who was the fifth actor in total to portray EastEnders Peter Beale - makes a suprise comeback to EE as Peter Beale.

@@AngelOfDeath1986 yeah probably. Though I don't see that happening anytime soon. I prefer Max Bowden who has played Ben Mitchell in EE since 2019. He's the sixth & most recent actor to play Ben & is popular with the viewers & has made the character Ben his own. Shame he'll be leaving in spring later this year, as I've grown to like Max as Ben. Also it's very rare to have soap characters who've been recast, come back with the original actor/actress to play them. Not the first time an EastEnders character has came back with the original actor & then the second actor coming back.... Sam Mitchell was first played by Danniella Westbrook on & off between 1990 till 2000. Then Kim Medcalf took over the role of Sam in 2002 till 2005. Then Danniella played Sam again in 2009, 2010 & 2016. Then the second actress Kim came back as EE Sam in 2022 - till her departure earlier this year. I prefer Kim Medcalf as Sam Mitchell. She's a million times better actress than Danniella Westbrook.

ThePlayStationGod 94 funny how every time Bens recast a new Peter always follows or vice versa like this was 2 recasts ago, they do change the characters a lot even personality wise like Peter was trying to make conversation and Ben was ignoring him and then when Harry Reid came into it as Ben he tried talking to the new Peter who gave him the cold shoulder instead, wonder what’ll be like with the new Peter coming in I don’t think he ever found out it was Ben who pushed her be an interesting storyline to revisit
