I wish someone heard Chantelle. Her mum got close when one night Gray beat her and left to get fresh air, only to bump into Karen right outside the door. Unfortunately she didn’t hear anything and they ended up having a casual chat. He even blocked her from going to the house claiming Chantelle wasn’t in and he locked his keys inside. Tina seeing Gray was excellently done, because Tosh and him were cut from the exact same cloth.

@@PBL187 Babe planted the watch and Shirley told her to tell Tosh and Babe pretended to do so. Shirley was annoyed to find out that Babe hadn’t done so. Babe said that she had but Tosh wasn’t believing it. This whole scene was hard to watch as Babe kind of caused it but at the same time, Tosh was always like this and wasn’t trying to be better. Even after beating up Tina, she still blamed her for it. So it’s kind of hard to say that Babe was 100% wrong.

I remember watching this it was hard to watch but it was important because abusers like tosh think they can hide who they truly are and can get away with abuse. A lot of people said oh why didn't Tina just leave and go to her family. Well as a person who has survived domestic abuse it is not so easy to walk away and leave your partner. They make you feel trapped and convinced that you cant live without them. I felt i deserved everything he did. But i realise now that i didn't. I deserved to be loved and to feel safe and to be treated well. A very good friend helped me to get out. I'm glad that Tina got out as well. Very good acting from Luisa Bradshaw-White and Rebecca Scroggs. Thank you both of you for helping to raise awareness of domestic abuse
