As someone who bets on horses and football, it's all about staying in control. There's always another day for a bet when you've paid off your debts and duties. I was screaming at the TV "No Rocky, this is all going to end in tears!"

There is laws on electrics when running a business, your supposed to have i think checks every 5 years with proof such as documents to back up those checks, also your not supposed to carry on running the business with faulty electrics. No doubt this will all come back on kathy.

@@sammylou5716Rocky accidentally caused the fault a few weeks ago. He threw some water which was meant to just land on the worktop, but most of it went into that exact socket and took the power out. The only other person who knows what he did because they were cleaning up after closing is Bernie. And he swore her to secrecy to not tell Kathy telling her that it would dry out overnight and nobody would know any difference, which she agreed to keep quiet. But ever since there’s been issues with the electricity in the place. Kathy got $h0ck€d before from the other plug and now thinks it’s her fault. As soon as Rocky did what he did with the water that’s when they announced the cafe 🔥 storyline, so it’s been pointing to him this whole time too be the one who causes it but I don’t think people thought at the time that he would be the one to deliberately start it until Nish got involved. Edit: plus it’s Karen’s last week next week. If she ends up going in the 🔥 Bernie being her daughter and knowing the truth about what Rocky originally did even though it was an accident at the time. Will likely tell Kathy the truth if she loses her mom that way. There seems to be only three ways out for Karen now. Phil and Sharon find out the truth about what really happened with Albie with Phil getting the truth out of her, him telling Sharon who won’t say anything to Keanu and just bide her time to get payback. (Her solo trailer was released after the Albie returns episode. Kathy’s trailer looks like it’s next with Suki’s being the last one because Nish finally finds out the truth about her and Eve next week as well!) And one or both make her leave the square. That’s if Albie doesn’t say something to his mom about his grandmother taking him somewhere for a “sleepover” She gets found out by the cops and takes full responsibility to try and protect Keanu, unaware that other people involved know the truth. Or she goes in the cafe 🔥 and the cops find out just before that Karen was involved with Albie’s fake kid-napping.

My husband said that he wasn’t always an actor, he was a well respected and loved comedian and game show host back in the nineties. Something that I didn’t know as an American. But my husband is originally from the UK and has got our youngest set of twins saying one of his apparent famous and beloved catchphrases. “It’sss a puppettt!” He use to say it to all our children when they were younger and was playing with and entertaining them especially during and after bath time and getting them ready for bed. They was always laughing and giggling at their dad being silly with their toys and bears 🧸. (Hearing babies having laughing fits is something I could listen too all day. It’s one of the most beautiful and precious sounds to hear) I always thought it was something that he had made up himself. It wasn’t until he came home one night and saw me watching Eastenders and saw Brian that he told me he had no idea that he was on the show and was telling me about watching him on TV in the 90’s and it’s who he got the puppet saying from that our youngest two always say when playing and h!tting their stuffed toys with a bat! My husband thinks it sounds weird hearing it being said in an American accent. 😂

He’s hilarious and my husband has the puppet saying down to a T, Brian really dr@gs out the words “It” and “puppet” 😂 I’ll have to look some more up later on this evening when I’ve finished work. Not watched or got to any of the stunts going wrong yet. But thanks for the suggestion.

Rocky is a Cotton. He is Nick’s brother. As we recently learned back in 2022. I think… Who knows maybe Rocky could be way worse than Nick.. addiction runs in their family. Nasty Nick had a heroin addiction back in the 80s and 90s.

I knew it was game over when Patrick came in. Rocky was in the mud as soon as Partick came in. 💀 This isn't Patrick's fault though, Rocky should've continued to say no. Patrick weren't to know he was addicted to gambling. Wish that shopkeeper firmly refused to serve him!

So did I regarding the woman working. But unfortunately places like that are all about making as much money as they can instead of paying out large amounts. She clearly knew from her reaction each time he placed a bet and from his behavior that he is an addict and should have refused to serve him instead of enabling him by keeping on allowing him to place bets. Alfie would have likely told him “NO, enough for today Rocky!” And saved him from Patrick’s always de*d certs that never win. You always know when Patrick has a dud tip off because he always says “I’ve got a de*d cert that will pay big” whoever is giving Patrick these tip offs he needs to stop listening to them, because he always ends up out of pocket. Yet when he picks his own he always wins. So he should just stick to his own instincts if he insists on gambling as his instincts have never let him down from what we’ve seen when he’s putting his money on horses or other types of events! 🤦🏾‍♀️ I would have told and reminded him “that his tip off de*d certs have never won and someone is clearly pranking him!”😂

His ex wife wanted $50,000 but he told her that’s all the money they could get and she told them she wanted the other $30,000 by the following week or she was going to report them and was about to keep hold of the signed papers until Ben walked in using Callum’s police information including badge and caught her off guard. While Ben was getting the information from his mom about why she was handing over a large amount of money and distracted the ex wife for a second Rocky pulled the signed papers from her hand before she could put them in her purse again. Then Ben thre@end her and she hasn’t been seen since!
