I remember hearing this on the radio when I was a little girl and I wanted to bring Jimmy home with me to live. I guess I never got or understood he died in the end of the song. I didn't know about death until pawpaw died when I was 7 years old and then I ran out of church and almost in the middle of 214. There were a bunch of people standing out there because they wouldn't fit in the church. Death doesn't have that effect on me since I found Jesus and I know where I am going when I die. Thank you Pastor Richard for preaching the way you did at Mamaw's funeral! I know there were people there who needed to be saved or rededicate their lives to Jesus. She would have enjoyed your message. No funeral of a Christian should be sad. I know my grandma is! We all knew that day. So there was nothing for me to be sad about. Yes, I would miss her dearly, she was getting to be with Jesus..here we are stuck in this sorry old world to deal with pain & heartache. I am waiting for my Lord to come back soon to get His children and take us all home. Love you all! ❤️

Luv this song for many reasons. My parents served for 30 years in a rescue mission in SC. I grew up watching dad preach and lead men to the Lord. Dad is in heaven now, and i know there are men there cause of dad's preaching.
