In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. KZbin earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. Here are the charities that we've donated to so far:

I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

My mom passed away this week and I needed this more than I even realized so I thank you. Laughter just heals my soul. I love watching Chateau Unwrapped episodes each week for all the uplifting vibes sent out to viewers in abundance... and of course for the incredible generosity and thoughtfulness of every amazing gift that is sent. As each gift is joyfully unwrapped I am reminded that the revenue generated by viewers is sent on as charitable donations to so many deserving organizations. Absolutely a win-win for so many. I have, on numerous occasions, made Easter bouquets by putting a narrow glass vase inside of a larger clear glass vase and then filling the space between the two vases with Easter egg candies and Peeps! And then obviously a beautiful floral bouquet in the center vase. If you Google it you should easily find photos as it will not let me attach one. Happy Easter everyone!

Stephanie you really do look tired. It was a pity commitments didnt allow you to recover completely before your trip. A stay in bed with complete rest is needed. My favourite cadeaux is the "carton of blue and white eggs" They were just made to be in your kitchen. All the gifts are truly remarkable and prove how much viewers appreciate that time you entertained us all during that dreadful isolation. DAVID🎉 congratulations on finishing your treatments, you deserve a celebration because anyone that goes through it knows how much Hell you go through. I am praying that you fully are cancer free and continue to be that way. Hey Stephanie as a longevity nurse Researcher > I say add Gouda Cheese daily to your cheeses list to eat cold as it's very high & pure in Vit.K 2 which helps Vit D3 to assimilate in the body at full force. ( Also, since 2022 > 10,000 Vit D3 is recogmended & do it at night as it helps one sleep too! 🎉 ) prayers & blessings for wellness. ❤ Love your constant focus to do a video no matter what. Such a nice gift opening for Easter or the beginning of Easter! Such fun. So much to do lately but glad I can take part here even though late lately as have so much goign on and do not get toe the life chat always as i would like. Platypuses lay eggs as do echidnas- our own sort of hedgehogs. Bilbies have backward facing pouches but don’t lay eggs. They can be a sort of replacement for the Easter bunny.

A fun thing to do with Peeps (any marshmallows) is to put them in a food dehydrator for several (12?) hours…leaving them crispy!

In Australia rabbits are a feral introduced species (by the English) that are very detrimental to the native flora and fauna like foxes. So they are trying to replace the Easter bunny with the Easter bilby.

We have a tradition of "blowing up Peeps in the microwave". Place them on a plate, and heat for about 20 seconds. They rise up, then flatten out. They're actually still edible but crunchy. I still prefer to eat them while in their original mushy state.
