Crimson Eros That is a cheat. ^^ It's what we call cheat codes. IDDQD from Doom was a cheat, a cheat code. Something the developer used, and left in the game. Consoles just makes it a whole lot easier, and it's called developer console for a reason.. tgm was a debug code left in the oblivion engine that Fallout uses. So it's actually cheats, but it's not hacks.

The reverse "carbon shadow" is most likely a refernce to Ray Baberry's poem "There Will Come Soft Rains" where a reverse carbon shadow is all that remains of a family. The poem is referenced in fallout 3 by a misty handy, so it would make sense that another reference exists.
@_sting14397 жыл бұрын
this can be very old but as im watching the video for the first time i feel obligated to share what i know: i was playing fallout 3 few days ago and probably one of the underworld ghouls or another ghoul in the game, i was asking about the family and she (the ghoul) said when she was a kid when the bombs fell, and her father has turned into ashes in a wall, most likely making a connection between the ghoul and that location in fallout nv
@MegaRazorback6 жыл бұрын
That carbon shadow reference is actually more likely a reference to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, there were numerous "shadows" in the ground near the detonation point of little boy and fat man...The shadows are what's left over after the blast passed over their dead bodies, basically where they laid was "spared" from the initial blast and heat, leaving a "shadow" of their body where it laid.

The name "Brahmin" is actually quite funny, if you paid attention during Fallout 1. Vault 15 was comprised of people from many different cultural and religious backgrounds, and when the vault went to shit, they all scattered into groups. One group founded Shady Sands, and this is where we first hear the word "Brahmin". This would lead one to believe that the town was founded by descendants of Hindus living in Vault 15. The wasteland's use of the term must have been carried over by the NCR, as they grew out of Shady Sands. However, this doesn't explain why Fallout 3 and 4 use the term "Brahmin". BUT, since the Brotherhood might have brought the term with them across the midwest, the settlers of the Capital Wasteland may have adopted the term. This still leaves the Commonwealth out, however, as no real communication between it and the rest of the post-war US has taken place, outside of Dr. Li. It just points to the name being used as there wasn't another term for the familiar two-headed cows.

The Archer Easter egg is actually way funnier than I originally realized, so the joke all stems from one episode in which a character who happens to be a treasurer changes the agency’s password while drunk. He can’t remember it and by the end of the episode he tries guest and boom it works. It’s not a long running joke it was just one specific episode. Me realizing this now makes me laugh even harder.

The web series was called Nuka Break, not Breaker. So while the weapon is a reference to the show, it doesn’t share the EXACT name. If you are a fan of Fallout (bonus points if you are a fan of the original Black Isle Fallout titles), I HIGHLY recommend that you watch the entire Nuka Break series and the spin off special Red Star. If Bethesda/Amazon’s Fallout show is at least half as good as Nuka Break, it will be a good show. Wayside Creations really nailed it and did a Fallout live action show right.

Hello Camelworks! I had a thought while watching your video (awesome by the way). There's a particular egg that I might have an avenue of thought for you to explore: It's the egg in which there is a reverse carbon shadow. Although there isn't another human carbon shadow across from the original and there's no shadow of a ball in mid air, there is however a description of "the shadows of 2 children tossing a ball that never came down" in an installment of "The Martian Chronicles" by Ray Bradbury called "There Will Come Soft Rains." I know it's a long shot, but that's the only thing I can think of to link it to. Again, great video.

the "carbon shadow" is probably referencing the episode where Mr. bean paints his room with explosives in a bucket of paint

For the army of darkness easter egg , in the movie he goes back in time to retrieve a book called the necronomicon which is in fallout 3's dlc mission when you have to go to dunwich building to the obelisk

The nuclear bombing of Japan wasn't an atrocity. It was 100% necessary to avoid a ground invasion, which would've killed significantly more people.

The Seymour statue is not a reference to Futurama, the scene from Futurama is in fact a reference to the true Japanese story of Hachikō the dog who used to wait for his owner everyday after work outside the train station, even after the man had died the dog still would wait there every day waiting for his master .
@yoejoe9265 жыл бұрын
mark shaw yes, there is also a statue of the dog in real life.
@jessegardner334 жыл бұрын
Then why isn't the dog called hachiko? It's obvious that it's a reference to Futurama. I don't think there's a scene involving hachiko getting petrified and being renamed Seymour is there? It's a bit of a reach to say this isn't a reference to Futurama. Sure the Seymour episode could be a reference to hachiko, but that doesn't retroactively make every reference of Seymour, into a reference to hachiko. The most you could say, is that the game referenced a TV show that referenced another story. It makes no sense to jump from a petrified dog, to it being a reference to hachiko.

Very old video but Andrew Ryan was voiced by Armin Shimerman who played the Ferengi Quark on the Star Trek series Deep Space 9. Mr. House was voiced by Renee Auberjonois who played Odo, the shape-shifting constable also from Deep Space 9. Quark and Odo were often foils for one another on Deep Space 9.

Around 17:38, the mentioning of the carbon shadow. It could be a reference to Fallout III. When you talk to, I think her name is Carol, in the ghoul city about her past, she mentions this exact event happening to her father during the war.

But the petrified seymour was from the episode where fry goes back in time and continued on with his life until bender blew up the pizzeria and petrified seymour in the blast. Also that episode was based of a real thing. Well, seymour waiting his whole life for fry to come back part is real.

I think it was ruled out to be an accidental easter egg, a.k.a. the developers just taking the tranquility lane pods and throwing them into the game.
