Oh, the last two boxes were so precious. The treat bags were a given in cuteness too. I love gnomes and so happy there are all kinds of gnomes on AliExpress. I’ve got the first two you showed, and really liked the one with the Love wording. And you’re right, it’s so easy for us to intermingle different dies with our other ones. We can make Christmas into spring and so much more. So cool! Right now, I’m working with my Easter Gnome dies for a birthday coming up. Ooh! I’ve also planned on using my gnome house (mushroom) and a gnome or two for a house warming gift for my friend. She’s just moved from Florida to Tennessee. I don’t think I have the sentiments you have. Would love the one that goes with a new home. Hey, in a few weeks from now, would you be willing to send me two of that sentiment in white card stock and black ink? Throw it in an envelope and send it my way? I would of course pay for the stamp and envelope. If you’re open to that, we can figure out the logistics down the road when it gets a bit closer to when I’d need it. That is awesome that you love gnomes too. The crafts that you’re working on sound so cute! Maybe you can even make a video of them before you give them away. Just hinting for you to start your channel 😉 You don’t need anything fancy...just start recording! Although it’d be nice to have a stand to hold your phone and I can give you a link of the one I use as it’s quite sturdy and doesn’t fall over like some gooseneck phone holders. You don’t need fancy lighting either...I prefer to film with natural sunlight...it looks best and it’s free! Sure, I could definitely send you a bunch of stamped sentiments no problem. @@CutesyShelf - Okay, here’s another dorky question-How do you set up your phone and a monitor together? I have an IPad and an iPhone. However, I am not coordinated enough to use only the phone above and keep the objects in frame for a video. If I was to add the iPad, I could use that to see if my objects were in frame and if the camera needed to be narrowed or expanded. I have absolutely no idea on how to connect the two and have them work together in tandem. Do you have a monitor when you make your videos? Plus, I could never figure out how everyone is able to focus in or out with their phones so quickly in the middle of the video being made. Me? It would take forever to get the phone focused in or out. I’d be fumbling big time. But everyone else seems to be able to do it lickity split, you included. Heck, I think you did it in this video too. Changing the subject-- 😊 I hope it’s nice and sunny where you are, in Toronto, right? Did you get a lot of snow this year? We did, more than I’ve ever seen in April. It just won’t stop except a day or two here and there and then it drops heavy on us again. Crazy weather. Thankfully, it’s gorgeous right now with the sun shining bright and temps are 16F above with a -17F low for tonight. I would bet you right now that if I went to our grocery store, say in the parking lot for ten minutes or so, I would count around five people in shorts. I tell ya, every time it gets above zero degrees, the shorts come out. When it hits 30F, boy oh boy, around a third of the people for sure. They’re all bonkers. One time, years ago, when I had been going to the university I had a class with a young kid who came in wearing shorts. It was five above zero. I had asked him if his Momma knew how he dressed. He wasn’t to happy with that question, but everyone else in our area had laughed. I mean, what the hell are you going to do if your vehicle breaks down and it takes awhile to get aide to you? It’s not like your vehicle will still be blowing hot air if it all goes ka-plunk. And then what? Jumping jacks? He he, too funny. I just had the visual of them doing just that. 1...2...3...4... I’m terrible, I know, but it had been an honest question at the time, it had not been a funny ha ha to embarrass the poor kid. At least before it had all tumbled out of my mouth. I do that a lot. I will say something and whoever I’m with will break out laughing. Sad thing is, I hadn’t even thought to make a funny comment or remark, it just comes tumbling out that way and then people think I’m funny, but more than half of the time, I’m not trying to be. I’ll figure it out one day. I’m usually being sincere when it happens. Anyhoo! I hope you’re getting some real nice weather and your snow is all melting. Yay! How many people live in Toronto or the city you live in? Are you getting sunny/daylight early in the am and later in the evening? It trips me out every year, it always takes me a bit of time to get used to and when I do, it’s usually time to do the opposite. I do love our midnight suns. I’m going to have to pull out the maps and see where you are longitude and latitude and compare it to mine. Maybe then I won’t be asking so many dumb questions. @@maiingan07 Sounds like you've been getting lousy weather. Although we had snow in April a couple of times over the years here in Toronto. Lately the weather has been nice, for example this week we are getting 59-64 F. And thank goodness the days are longer, the sun has been setting around 7pm. Canadians are just as crazy...as soon as the snow melts, people have their shorts on lol. You're naturally sweet and have such a warm, friendly personality! I enjoy all the stories that you share. When it comes to filming, I just use my iphone as I'm able to position the phone so that I can look onto the screen and therefore remain in frame. This is also good to put the phone near your face as you'd have to speak close to the microphone that way you could be heard clearly. At the same time, you can see whenever you're out of focus and just touch the screen for it to focus. Plus, there's no need to buy a microphone either if you do it this way. Some people have the phone so far away that it's difficult to hear them. I'm standing so I get more space in front of me to show things. The phone holder is really great in that it has a long arm and can stay out of view.
