I am a Jamaican living in the US from many years and I've been wanting to go to Ghana and looking at this country for about 2 to 3 years now and I've been praying on it and I think God is going to finally make it happen soon I am ready to pack up my stuff and leave the US it's not what people make it out to be you spend all your life here working like a slave you have to wait until you're old and tired and sick in your body 60 something almost 70 years old before you can retire to get a few crumbs home ownership is hard here you still paying taxes on the property that you think you own it's just a mess in the US it is not what people make it to be Make some money here and leave while you still can and while you're young enough in your body to start over The motherland is the destination

Aburi is a wonderful place in the East Region of 🇬🇭. The roads, hills and gardens as a whole is pure beauty. If our brothers and sisters come to 🇬🇭they should visit Aburi Gardens for sure. If am going to 🇬🇭again then I will definitely go to Aburi Gardens, because it’s beauty speaks for itself.

Pls, they should also create a road for bicycle and motors. The Minister of road Should create always three roads not only two roads. And the drives should also drive with care. They should put camera to limit the speed on the roads.

I always mention that if Ghana towns and cities want to look beautiful, then all the kiosks should be removed from the streets. They need malls. Kiosks make Ghana looks ugly. Trees should be replaced with trees.

I love the songs and green side of the roads but why don’t you build all other streets around the country, keep every gutter clear & covered to create lay-by and pedestrians space. Too dusty and speed rams instead of deferent solution. Speed rams on roads is not good for vehicles, dust & stingy gutters are not hearty. Simple the best. Moreover, security & education are very important no one have right to sale a land to a foreigner and hygiene, sanitation, health & security should be a subject in every school. The government and private sectors to build more recycle factories almost anywhere in the country. We’re marching forward to beautiful country of Zion 🏙🇬🇭

Aburi is undergoing serious destruction of the beautiful forest and destruction of trees and greenery. Please don’t sell land to make money and destroy the forest.please advise your buyers and sellers to save the forest, plant trees and grow green grass instead of building walls which causes erosion and flooding. Folks use plant hedges for fencing. Plant green grass instead of concrete driveways and compound. Plant several fruit trees and willow trees. Let’s stop climate change in Aburi. The climate is changing due to the cutting of trees and destruction of the forest. Please educate the people don’t make Aburi to become like Accra. Stop the tree cutting and plant trees.

PETITION FOR COMMENCEMENT OF THE KITASE SECTION OF THE KITASE BEREKUSO ROAD CONSENT FROM ABURI - KITASE - AGYEMENTI TOWNSHIP/COMMUNITY, CITIZENS AND ALL COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS AND INSTITUTIONS To: Minister of Roads & Director/ Lead Engineers of the Ghana Highway Authority ---------------- Urgent & Immediate Action Request: We hereby request the Ghana Highways Authority to expedite the Kitase -Aygementi-Berekuso Road Construction and to consider and include the following design elements: 1. Street Lights from the main Aburi Road through Aygementi Township/ Lansdown Resort Enclave to Ashesi University; 2. Inland Road Trees Planting or Side Tree Planting especially in around Aygementi Township 3. Side walk for pedestrians/ bicycle from Aburi Kitase junction to Ashesi University only. 4. Utilize the optimal Geometric Design of Highways and Streets Standards in accordance with (AASHTO, 2011) 5. Speed ramps at Lansdown junction, Ashesi University Junction and at Aygementi Township. 6. Traffic light at main Aburi Kitase Junction only. 7. designs for climbing and overtaking lanes, Drainage Channels, Clear Zone,Side Roads and Culverts, Right-of-way, Median at Agymenti Township, 8. Accessories to Road covers the following: -Bus Bay - Types of Bus Bays, Construction of Bus Bays -Parking - Parking Lot, Methods of Parking, Dimensions of Parking Lot -Road Marking 9. Utilize optimal lasting road materials for safety and durability. We request- naturally occurring or processed), aggregates (fine aggregates or coarse aggregates obtained from rocks), binders like lime, bituminous materials, and cement, and miscellaneous materials used as admixtures for improved performance of roads under heavy loads and traffic 10. Whereas, The Kitase Road from the main street junction of the Aburi Road through the Kitase Police Station is a dangerous unhealthy transportation network to major key constituencies and institutions including universities, schools, farms, hotels and tourist resort and emergency response/law enforcement institution (Kitase Police Station). It presents a significant hazard to anyone travelling by vehicle on the road when having to go to a one vehicle road due to the potential human and environmental hazards. The large hazard and imminent danger including national security risk that is posed by any rock falls on the main Aburi road and potential lock down at the Peduase Presidential Lodge and notwithstanding the highly prominent statesman and woman dwelling within the Aburi Kitase Aygementi corridors warrants a rapid commencement and immediate road construction from the Kitase corridor towards Agyementi Township to Ashesi University. The Police of Kitase are in danger in responding to emergencies effectively and rapidly due to the nature of the untarred rocky hazard road. When it rains it washes the road into in places advancing erosion and flooding to lowlands. The President stated to the students of Ashesi University and the community of Agyementi that the road will be constructed. We are hereby requesting the President and the Minister of Roads to uphold their pledge and have one of the road contractors immediately begin the road construction from the Kitase Agyementi to meet the Berekuso construction which has started. Whereas the students, township primary school pupils, citizenry, tourist, businesses, community inhabitants and poor farmers constantly subjected to the road hazards and health impact including environmental and natural resource degradation, we request the immediate commencement of the Kitase section of the Berekuso-Kitase road to commence now. We the undersigned, respectfully request that the unpaved road immediately be properly prepared for paving and then paved immediately. And to include repair or make ditches, gutters, drainage ways to accommodate the flooding of the road. We the undersigned, respectfully request that the Kitase- Berekuso Road from the Kitase Police Station to Ashsei University MUST be Concurrently Begin Construction Immediately
