Great video - learned a lot. My only suggestion would be to hold the tools still for at least a few seconds so we can see them. A lot of movement of the tools whilst in your hands showing them and tough to get a good look.

What's your view on purchasing a rounded concave cutter? ( as a beginner? ) ( it does the same job as a knob cutter and branch cutter I've heard)
@easternleaf8 жыл бұрын
Hello. Yes and no. The rounded concave cutter is great tool. It can help you create those divots in the trunk but will not let you take out deep big chunks like the knob cutter. Depending on the tree (e.g. very hard wood) you are working on or how often you need to take big chunks out of your tree, you may or may not need the knob cutter. Hope this helps!

Hello, Great video! I was just wondering but where did you purchase your tools? Did you buy them as a complete set or did you assemble them? How much do you think it would cost to invest in a whole set? thanks :)
@easternleaf9 жыл бұрын
pri22v11 All my tools are from www.easternleaf.com. We sell an assortment of tools. My toolkit is probably around $800 but that's b/c I use a lot of made in Japan tools. We offer much cheaper Made in China tools as well for beginners. Thanks for watching!

Nancy Burridge gens are extra branches on dead wood that look nice so you trim them to a slight point I honesty don't point my gens I round mine off at a slight angle to keep a more natural look.
