Hi, I looked at your website and it doesn’t appear to have the one that is your favorite. If I buy one carbon steel branch cutter should it be a concave hybrid or just concave? Is it better to trim the branch just flush or have a sort of dip at the cut that the hybrid would give?

Hi Jason love your vids ! I’ve learnt so much from them (I’m a beginner ) but I want to ask something ,I have a Malay apple (syzygium malaccense ) that I bought not that long ago and the tree is really healthy and putting out new growth ,but is only in a 14 cm overall pot ... how will I know when it needs repotting or is this down to choice ,and if I do need to repot if I go to a bigger pot will the tree grow to its maximum in this pot or do you not go to a bigger pot ? I would like the tree to be bigger.

Do both sides of your spherical concave branch cutter have a sharpened edge? I recently bought one from a different supplier that only had one edge that cut.

Do you have these tools sharpened from time to time?

Hi Mark! Concave branch cutters usually don't need to be sharpened. I've been using the one in the video for about 4 years now and it still cuts perfect without sharpening. Hope this helps! :)

Sorry mate the cutter your waiving around is just the standard branch cutter. The concave branch cutter, is a blend of a branch cutter and a knob cutter. The stainless tool you called a spherical branch cutter , is the concave branch cutter. Please learn the true names thankyou

Why do you put duct tape on it?

The orange electrical tape is just used to mark the tool as mine. When working with a group of people and friends, tools gets mixed up pretty quick. :)
