Young mom hurt falling off horse is overcome with emotion receiving gifts from a Secret Santa

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season. This is the ninth year the Secret Santa is blessing people in our community and every day, from now until the end of the year, we will post videos of the recipients being surprised with these life-changing gifts.
Kailey and Cameron have two young children. On Oct. 7, they were riding horses with their extended family when Kailey fell off her horse.
She hit her head on a large post and was rendered unconscious for several seconds. When she came to, she couldn't move without significant pain in her back. An ambulance was called and she was rushed to the hospital where doctors found she had three fractured vertebrae, a small brain bleed, a concussion and a fractured foot.
Kailey was admitted to the ICU overnight and then moved to the another floor the next day. She has since released to go home but will be in a back brace, walking boot and have significant lifting restrictions for several months while she recovers.
Caring for her children will be difficult as she isn't supposed to lift even her youngest child. She remains in a lot of pain and will likely require a lot of physical therapy to recover fully.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves if we could pay Kailey a visit and surprise her with an early Christmas gift. Watch the video in the player above!

Thank you so much Nate and East Idaho News for all the HAPPY TEARS we get watching such amazingly beautiful acts of kindness. In a way it makes me sad because though we don't have anything to spare I'd love to help others like your secret santas do each year. In 2016, just 10 days after getting married I was overcome with diabetes that actually killed me twice on the day it was discovered..thank God for my wife's quick reactions. After being in a medically induced coma for 10 days I was back home where I cared for my wife's grandmother who had had a severe stroke while still caring for myself as well. Sadly, grandma passed in January this year and I was forced to return to work or lose grandma's (our) home and everything we own, but at least we're saving the home and grandma's dream..that's it but the most important things are covered. lol. You inspire people to do amazing, wonderful acts of kindness with these selfless acts each year and I just wanted to say thank you to you all and many, many blessings to you all.
