Eastland Disaster Memorial and Exploring Bohemian National Cemetery

I have never heard of the Eastland Disaster. How tragic and sad. This is a very interesting cemetery. That Cubs wall is so cool! What a great idea for fans! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We lost my dad at the end of September so it will be hard for us this year. Also, keep in prayer all of those in the mountains of North Carolina. Hundreds of folks in tents, barns and sheds. The temps are going to drop tomorrow with highs in the lower thirties and upper twenties. I don't know how they will survive.

Wow thanks for showing us all of that Jeff. Can't believe how many statues that place has! I love statues. Absolutely love the black and white photos on some of the cemeteries also. Wow what a cemetery! I gotta Say those statues creeped me out. The faceless ones. The hooded one, I had to cover my Eyes when you went too close. No idea what you saw but I couldn’t look at it. The tragedy of the Eastland was horrific. I just watched another channel recently who went into detail of the tragedy. And the amazing Cubs wall. That’s really a cool idea! Thank you for sharing this visit with us!

We have acid rain and harsh winters here in Chicago. Some statues have been affected by this and look as though they are melting away.
